Thread Topic: Is Egg veg? OR Is it Non-veg?

I think that egg is VEG!
-
Non-veg unless you're an ovo-vegetarian.
-
It's veg dude!
-
I'm not gonna explain since it's not allowed here. -
No. It comes from an animal, not the ground. It has proteins like meat.
It's not a vegetable, it's an animal product. -
I'll explain all I want. :I
-
It's veg and i can proof it!
-
Still waiting for the proof. -
There are 2 kinds of hens.
1.Layers(For laying eggs) 2.Broilers(For meat)
Layers:Hens which need less food and lay more eggs are layers.
Broilers:Hens which are reared for only meat are called broilers.
Peoples eats the eggs of layers.AS,A chicken does not come from a layer's egg,It's not possible. So,It's veg. -
I still see no proof. I just see gibberish and bulls--- that was probably taken from wikipedia.
-
An egg is not a plant, therefore it is NOT a vegetable.
And from what your gibberish says, hen or "broiler", eggs still come from living creatures and are considered an animal product not a in-ground-growing produce. -
"Peoples eats the eggs of layers.AS,A chicken does not come from a layer's egg,It's not possible. So,It's veg."
I have read the above statement more than once.
Still, don't get a word of it. -
I think she's saying "eggs come from layer, but they don't hatch". But if "broilers" are for meat only, then they don't lay eggs. And if no chicks come from layers, then chickens would be extinct.
-
And that still doesn't proof that eggs are veges.
Thanks for clarifying her sentence, though. -
