My family can't f---ing get along.. It's annoying... All of their petty arguments... It makes me sick... It drove me back here.. Every f---ing year they argue... Every year I just feel like ending them all...

They were fighting because my brother was skyping and my brother in law was downloading something. Well the download was f---ing up the skype connection and my brother in law was talking out about how slow the download speed was. He then attributed it to our internet being s---ty.

My dad is lacking in intelligence and judgement. He decided that threatening them was the best course of action. He probably thinks that he's better than the rest of us so that made him think that he should stop it...

Oh, that's just great. So basically no one over there gives a f--- about how awkward or miserable they make the entire holiday situation.

That's it in a nutshell. I don't give a crap about the religious aspect of this holiday but I would like it if they could just get along for once.

I can understand that.. I'm sorry they're so insensitive to how you feel about it. Have you told anyone how much it bothers you? Anyone with even a touch of sympathy? How does your mother feel about this? Or is she part of the problem?

No. I haven't. I've always kept my thoughts on this matter to myself. My mother doesn't like it. She knows how my dad reacts to things. She tries to reason with him but he just acts blindly.

Maybe you should say something. I don't want you to get in trouble, but I don't want you sad like this. I think she might do a little more to intervene if she knew it was upsetting you, as well.
