Thread Topic: SR vs. GTA

I just read a thread (on a completely different site) that says "5 reasons why Saints Row 4 will blow GTA 5 out the water". It didn't really include good reasons, just random stuff that you can't really judge a basis on. It didn't quite include any real things that we can all agree on. In short, it wasn't very good.
Hold on there, you thought I was going to go for GTA, didn't you? Well no, not at all. I'm heading my own way.
GTA and Saints Row are extremely different games. Just because GTA has you play a guy who does some things that an average gang thug might do, it isn't just and all about gangs.
I'm not going into detail about the previous games of both franchises just yet, so let me do the latest ones.
GTA V is going to be very realistic. You're not the single most powerful guy in the game, and you have some every-day things you probably check out. It works like real life, having many things you can do, but it keeps in that serious tone. It's a great game.
SR4 is just simply the opposite. Other than the great game part, they are both extremely well-done. In SR4, hardly any-thing is justly real. It trades riveting story and hard-thinking reality for awesome powers, and open, free, and crazy open-worldness. In it, you fight off aliens with dub-step guns (which are AWESOME, btw), fly UFOs, and jump off of a cliff... And then follow suit by running super-quickly on water. It's also a great game.
Both are great games, but for completely different reasons. If you want a serious and thoughtful game, GTA is up for the sale. If you want a wacky, comical, and still immersive game, SR is also up for the sale.
You simply cannot compare the two. That's like trying to compare Beyond: Two Souls with Halo. You just... You just can't compare them and end up with logical, hard-core and reasonable proof. You'll end up looking like an ass.
Now let's use those two for an example. If you want an emotional story-time, you better go for Beyond: Two Souls, that s--- made me cry, dammit! If you want an ecstatic, blasting time f---ing aliens up in the head, go for Halo. That s--- made me jump, dammit!
Besides, you can't even compare ANY two games in the first place! Un-less they are both made from the same creators, for the same purposes, and in the same franchise, you CANNOT! And even then, some-times it fails.
That's like saying vanilla ice-cream is better than chocolate ice-cream because you currently like it more. Guess what. I don't like chocolate, and love vanilla. But me trying to say that vanilla is simply better than chocolate would make me an ass. Now, saying I like it more than the other is an opinion. That's all in free speech.
Now, shut the f--- up, and stop trying to turn opinions into facts! It's stupid and im-possible!
Dayum... I made that s--- long. I think. -
This might belong in 'The Arcade'...

Hey dip-s---s. Yeah you.
What does any-body think about this matter?
