Who sits in the dark and cares no more
Who finds comfort laying on the freezing floor
She waits till dawn to finally get some sleep.
Because all night she weeps.
There's this girl I know
Who sits in a corner as her mask dissolves.
She has millions of problems she has to solve
They all say she's role model
But they don't know all her emotions are bottled.
There's this girl I know,
Who sees the world in black and white
All because she lost the fight
The fight to keep seeing a rainbow at the end of a rainy day
The fight to be okay
She lost it all
On the day summer turned to fall
Do you know this girl, too?
Who could she be? No clue?
Pay more attention and you will see.
A lot of us show what others want us to be.
