I don't want to sound mean, but there's a forum, "The Stage", for this. I still think it's a little confusing...

On the first night of a vampire takeover, the son of the President, Daniel Ryan, (my character) is evacuated from Washington D.C. as the city falls. His helicopter is shot down, and Daniel is the only survivor, who then meets a vampire girl (your character). They work together, and she is torn between Daniel and her loyalties.
