Have Hailey get hurt) He was almost to her.

Hailey felt something slice at her abdomen. she looked down and saw blood oozing from a long cut wound. she hit the ground and nera slid away.

He gasped "Hailey!" He fell to the ground pulling her into his lap. The men backed off and his dad walked up laughing and slow clapping. "I warned you son. This is buisness."

Hailey winced. It hurt badly. she noticed Nera changed back and stayed at the edge of the crowd. She said nothing.

He was shaking and he suddenly went still and looked dead into his fathers gold cold gaze. "No. Its not." Haves eyes turned a silver pure metal color and his skin and body seemed to glow and he almost looked... metal. Suddenly all the botts turned on and attacked knocking the rest of the men out. They all bowed to Jace.

Hailey looked around in awe. how...She coughed up blood. nera creeped over and nudged hailey.

Zoren shifted into normal and licked the blood from Hailey. Jace's dad looked in awe,horror, and pride. "We are leaving." Jace stood carrying Hailey in his arms. The botts followed them out and onto the streets. Once there they took off to their owners. He slid onto Zorens back with Hailey still in his arms.

Hailey started to black out. she tried to stay something but then got swallowed up into darkness. Nera roared at Jaces dad before following them out of the building.

"Nera come." He still looked metal and Nera had to follow him. His mutant power was fully awake. Zoren raced to Jace's shop and once inside her gently laid her on his metal table for work. He lifted her shirt up just enough to get to the wound. He cleaned it and began to wrap it up.

Nera watched antiously as Jace worked. she paced back and forth. Hailey still was surrounded by darkness in her mind.

Once done he carried Hailey upstairs and laid her in his bed. Then he took Zoren and Nera to the charging room. Hooking them up he crashed on his couch falling asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow. He forgot about his wounds.

Hailey had a strange dream. she was listening to her father tell stories about a world without automatons. she would always laugh and say thats not true.
she smiled at the dream memory.

Its okay.)) He was still passed out on the couch every so often a soft snore escaped him.

Hailey woke up the next day. she sat up slowly and looked around.this isnt my bed... she tried to get out of the bed but winced and looked at her stomach. it was wrapped up good. she got out of the bed slowly and walked down to a livingroom.
