Seems like every damn game is biased and that people only want to find excuses to let their favorite team win.
Did anyone see the USA/Costa Rica game on Friday? Those were absolutely horrible conditions, straight up to the point where I couldn't see what the hell was going on. The USA was lucky to have made the goal while the snow was very light.
Costa Rica filed a complaint but FIFA said that it was filed incorrectly, therefore it was invalid and the USA's victory was upheld.
The referees were Salvadoran, and even they were saying afterwards that it was a very unfair game and that it should have been postponed.
In the Honduras/Mexico game, the referees were Honduran. One of the Honduran players straight out shoved one of the Mexican players, and it should have been a penalty. But since Hondurans are big asses (In very kind terms, my friends) they didn't count it. But every time the Mexican team did something that was out of place, of course the referees counted it.
Today in the USA/Mexico game, the referees were Guatemalan. They (the Americans) shoved Chicharito (Javier Hernandez) twice today, the second time so hard that he had a lot of trouble getting up. Those were VERY obvious penalties/red cards. What did the referees do? Nothing at all. Not even a yellow card.
Whenever the Mexican team would slightly push one of the Americans, they always counted that as a yellow card. The f---?
It's obvious. It's all about favoritism now, isn't it? Finally futbol is going to become so indulged in that that I won't even be able to enjoy it.
