I couldn't help but stare at him. Wasn't the guy supposed to say that first?! "Uhh.. I... umm.. well.. I-I dunno..."

I looked away, and went silent

I bit my lip and asked quietly, and blushing. "D-do you like me?"

"No, b-but I love you" I forced myself to say

My cheeks turned about the color of ripe strawberries. "You... you love me?"

"Y-yes" I said, I didn't look at her though

I looked at the floor and couldn't help but smile. No one had ever said that and certainly not the guy I'd been liking for a while.

"But someday, I won't even be able to see you" I said, "I won't be able to see anything"

I bit my lip sadly. "You won't have to see me to know I'm here."

I tried to hide that I was sad again, "what do you want to do" I asked, I wanted to change the subject

I wasn't sure what he meant, like about his sight or the liking, er, loving me thing, so I went with the safe option. "Help any way I can."

I sighed, "what things do you want to do? Play a game?" I quietly asked

I muttered a sorry, then "Sure. What do you want to play?"

"Do you have any boardgame?" I asked

I nodded. "Yeah. But Eric doesn't like them laying around the house so they're all in my closet." That made me blush a bit.
