Amy shifted in the bed and shifted until she felt comfortable. "Chase?" She asked in a mumble. -
(Lucky you?)
"Hm?' he sat down next to her. -
(never mind -3-)
"Can you lay next to me and sing to help me go to sleep? My mom used to do that." She said whispering. -
(He can't sing...remember?)

"Tell me a story." -
He nodded. "What kind of story?"

"Any kind.....a nice one."

He laughed a little and layed down. "Well......there once was a duck named bill....and...bill waddled up a hill. He fell down the hill and broke his bill....then there was no more of a duck named bill...."

Amy suddenly opened her eyes and shifted and looked at Chase. "What? Bill died?" Her eyes started getting wet and her lip started quivering. -

"Ehm...you ok?" he asked. "Ok then...moving on. ....I used t tell this to my sister...." he said, about to continue on with another story. -

She wiped her eyes quickly and shifted on her back staring at the ceiling listening. -
(yea.)
He sighed and began. "They were flying in the meadow, wing in wing. Her colorful bright pink wings sparkled in the sun, as well as his deep blue and white wings. A human came up with a net, trying to...catch them. They flew as fast as they could, trying to avoid the large object. Why was it chasing them? What did they ever do to it?" he stopped for a little. -

Amy listened tentatively listening and hearing every single word as if it were a ancient secret. -
He continued. "The net flew over them, trapping them between the grass and net. They flew frantically to get out, but they couldn't. They flew and flew, trying to find a way out, but eventually ran out oof breathe... The human studied them, then released the net. They flew off into the sunset, wing in wing.."
(Dumbest, corniest story ever. Came up with ot off the top of my head. No wonder why it's so bad xD)
