I wiped the single tear away and stood up. "Um its like 1. I-I need to go....D-do you wanna come with?"

I slowly stood, and nodded meekly. In a barely audible voice, I very politely said, "S-sure. But I must be home by 4:00."

I nodded after a bit of pondering. "But I'll have to be back at my house at the normal time I always do..." I mentioned in a barely audible voice. Standing, I stared out at the football players that were approaching the field. -
"Ok. Cmon." I lead him away.

I stayed by Coles side, for fear of the football players. Being my frightened little self, I allowed myself to seemed as though I was afraid already, so they wouldn't feel the need to pick at me. Surprisingly, no one tried anything.

We end up at my crappy run down house. "Well...this is it."

I shrugged. "Its nice..." I was quiet. Now, I was scared I'd say something utterly wrong and be hurt like my father always hurt me. I let a smile crawl across my face.

I smile. "I know its s---ty, you dont have to make me feel good about it."

I shook my head. "The home is where the heart is." Though it pained me deeply to utter those words, I remained beaming. Though there was always that glint of sadness they say appeared in a humans eyes..

I looked down. This dump isnt where my heart is. Idont know where it is. "Ready to go inside?"

"O-Okay..." I said. "Let's go." I took but one step forward before stepping back and waiting for Cole to go first.

I opened the door,hoping my mother wouldnt bother us.

I didn't know if I was allowed to go in first, so I stayed back, looking down.

I shrugged and walked in,holding open the door.

I walked in slowly after him. Quite honestly, I've never gone to anybodys elses house before.
