I let the other guy go first. He naturally picked another tall guy. I followed suit. He was a new kid, though. Just got here a month ago, so I knew all the good players. After a while, I smiled, pointed to you, and jerked my thumb to my already-growing team. -

I reluctantly walked over, forcing a smile. -
xD Okay then
We kept picking until there was no one left. We were told to go to opposite ends of the gym to discuss strategy. We had 5 minutes. -

I kept my mouth shut tight. I hadn't uttered a thing, just listened to he perplexing terms. -

When we were all gathered, I rolled my eyes and started talking. "The strategy... is to get the ball.... into the net.... Any questions?" -

"If the overall strategy is to get the ball through the hoop, then isn't their countless ways to plan and takes out the opposin team?" I immediately went red -

I nodded slowly. "Yess, but the main goal of basketball is to get the ball through the hoop. And I perfer to keep things simple. We'll just play as a team, and it's not like we'll remember next week who won anyways." -
"But can't we formulate at least one or two surprise plays so when we're finished, whether we win or lose, get a sense of creativity and satisfaction?" I got a few WTF stares.

I was one of WTF stares. "Good idea. Anybody got ideas?"

I actually had an idea. "We have a player on the left side,dribbling up the court.They need to make it believable that they're going to take a shot. Nope. They pass to the person to their right. That's a person in the middle. They act like they are gonna shoot the ball, then pass it to the final right person. The ithers wilk think they will pass whe they actually shoot from an effective area."

I thought and snapped my fingers. "I like it. We'll save it for the end, though, as like our final ace. Everyone cool with that? In the meantime, we'll just keep doing the usualy pretend-to-shoot-but-pass-to-a-guy-behind-me shots, okay?"
