it was rather cloudy, and it looked like a storm was coming, "do you know where the houshe ish?" I asked to jake -

I nodded, and grabbed his hand, and brought him to the house, opening the door for him -
I suddenly saw a flash of lightning not far away, I went inside, I was afraid of storms

(I sense an adorable moment coming on. :O I'm gonna the make the storm realllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy scary :3)
There were numerous blasts of thunder in the distance as I closed the door, hard rainfall and wind howling. -
the tv was left on, and there was a severe storm alert showing up on it, "jake, I'm shcared" I quietly said ( should the power soon go out? )

I walked over to him and hugged him. "youre okay." -
I hugged him, I kept myself from jumping back when a flash of lightning flashed in the sky

As the rain and wind increased intensity, the lights flickered.

I saw that the lights were flickering, there was another flash of lightning, and then everything went dark, I looked around, there was no lights on

The power soon went out. I looked at Pollux.

I waited, I was hoping the power would come back on, but it never did

I sat on the couch. Thunder and ligtning boomed and flashed outside. I laid down, hands under my headn

the storm passed by after an hour, but by then, I was almost crying and shaking, I actually thought I saw a lightning strike close to this house
