I ate a book to feel divine,
The pages cut, the ink like wine. -
The monster lays in the eyes on man (idk I'm just improving)

Speak the grey from your morals,
Speak to stave off your own undoings,
an open war, a petty mile,
pretty hair and a half ded smile -
The world’s most genuine kid can’t genuinely exist,
When the world’s causing wars,
And the Internet’s still pissed.
And I can’t see straight,
While I’m diving for cover,
But at least I can still watch another video of a liar. -
I was never afraid of the dark,
But I imagined it was afraid of me.
The night,
The room without a light,
An endless blight,
It only sung of sorrow and fear to me,
It isn’t a song I believe I’ll ever need.
But I’ll sing back, the temptations are too great.
The chaos is promised and the fear is gone,
I’ve learned how to make the silence feel wrong.
So I create my own, and sing to the moon and closet doors alike.
I don’t sing alone, my energy and mind is more than a ton.
My mind and confidence may taste like spite,
A stubborn right to never try to understand the blight.
Because to understand that blight, a seemingly endless night,
Is to finally admit I picked too big a fight.
