  1Embarrassment and Suspension
  On my wrist was a piece of sharpie artwork. The most perfectly shaped heart and a J for Jason, otherwise known as cutie and his brown hair that doesnt cover his glasses that emphasize his bright crystal blue eyes. I wore not a jacket, not a long sleeve but a tank and my preferred fit jeans. Its like my brain was trying to tattle on me. I knew when I walked into class that someone was bound to find out and tell him.
  Suddenly I was hunting for a jacket but of course who wears a jacket on a hot day like this. I didnt want anyone to find out I like him so I just covered it with my other hand. Suddenly karma slapped me in the face. Jason walked in with all his stuff and Mrs. Jennet, our science teacher, signaled him towards the empty chair next to me. I heard he was being moved into our class for being in trouble all the time. But I thought it was just part of the mainstream rumor loop. He looked over and I squeezed my wrist to the point that sweat could possibly be noticeable. He sat down and went straight to lazy mode. Slouched in his chair, feet stretched out, ankles crossed and his hands bouncing a pencil on the desk. Every time the pencil hit the desk his muscles somehow seemed more noticeable but he wasnt too buff. It was like a natural buffness that had no lifting required.
  I tried my best to focuses on Mrs. Jennet again. Can anyone tell me what a lipid is? This is so easy I thought. And faster than the speed of light my hand went up. Carleen? A lipid is an oil or a wax. I put my hand on the desk and then quickly on my lap when I notice my artwork was conspicuous for everyone, even Jason!
  After class I walked to my locker with Genie. Genie and I have been the best of friends from kinder till fifth then we were officially sisters. She was nitpicking about her grade on the quiz. How am I supposed to know this stuff if I cant study!? I looked at her as if she missed the biggest detail. Genie, Genie my dearest Genie What? There was a review packet and a review test. I smiled hysterically. Oh, I forgot all about it. Well I have to go, by Carlee.
  I started to unlock my locker, but messed up so while I was trying again, Jason was walking towards me. I acted like I didnt see him but when I finally opened it he was just gawking at me. It was kind of weird because he is like twenty or so inches taller. He waited like it was my queue to act on. Can I help you? I said with a fake smile. Um, yes actually I came to ask for Carleens number, do you know it? Inside I fainted but I played it cool. Actually I dont remember mine do you want to just give me yours? Yeah, sure, give me your hand. Again the wrong hand was shown to the world. He wrote it clear and slow. When he was done we looked at each other and smiled. Again my dramatic side swooned. Text me, we should really talk more. He said still smiling. Okay. I focused on the rims on his glasses.
  Of course I didnt tell him about my parents strict rules they have for boys. But I ended up telling him when we were texting. Hey, my parents are really strict about guys, so just dont make it noticeable to them. I waited for him to respond staring at the phone. Right when I set it down I heard the bell on the phone ring. What do you mean?? So are we dating or something? Um, that was not supposed to be read that way! No, I mean my mom doesnt like me being friends with guys but if you really want to date then yeah sure. This time I put the phone down and he didnt respond the whole night.
  2Misunderstood Suspension
  I dont know if I texted the wrong thing or if it was because he saw my wrist and thought I was over attached but we didnt speak, at least for a while. Throughout the whole test I would look over at him waiting for a signal that shows he at least noticed my presence. He glanced over right when I looked back at my test. Feeling laser beams from Mrs. Jennet I looked up. Carleen and Jason there is no talking during a test! Jason stood up and walked towards her. Um, can I talk to you about something? Its bothering me. The others watched the door and then back at me. Mrs. Jennet walked in with Jason but no one was emotional. Mrs. Jennet was smiling my way and Jason just looked at me and sat down as if nothing had happened.
  Ok, so get one partner and start your project. Suddenly Genie gave me her best smile from the front of the room, Cattie who thinks Im the smartest person stands up and walks my way. Over all the obsessing people Jason gently taps my leg. Do you want to be partners? Relief and excitement runs through my blood but only in a rush so it wasnt very noticeable. Yeah, as long as we do equal amount of work. I gave him a tender smile and got some paper out for the both of us. Right before I set the two pieces down, he slid one out from the pile and instantly wrote a few sentences on the top left corner. I tried to read it but he moved over so I couldnt read it. I made a dorky giggle and tried to take it. We have to work together Jason. Finally he lifted his natural muscles and the paper was now in my possession. It read:
  Sorry for not responding last night but Im not ready to date you. I think we should hang out more. Plus I dont like starting a relationship over text. Meanwhile just friends.
  I looked over at him and before I could open my mouth he handed me the pencil. I looked at the paper then back him. Why cant I just tell you? He looked annoyed Cause I already told Mrs. Jennet why were unfocused during the test I dont think she should know any more of it. I started to write but he was looking so I nudged him over with my other hand. I slid it over to him and we both smirked.
  I know I sounded really desperate but I really like you and I agree we should hang out but I already told you how my parents are.

  After class I walked downstairs with him to English and he was the class next-door. When he was walking me to my Geography class we played Marco Polo. We take turns yelling Marco and if someone out of random answers we try to get them to say Marco. Marco Jason said with a big smile. Why exactly do we do this again? I sarcastically asked. To find someone weird enough to be our friend. I think. He looked down at me. Marco We both start to laugh. Polo A guy about the same height as me was behind us wearing a jacket and worn out jeans. I looked over at him Hi, my name is Carleen and this is Jason. My name is Aitken but just call me Ken. He shook my hand then went to shake hands with Jason but he refused. Sorry bro, I dont hold a guys hand for a couple seconds. Jason put his fist out. I dont punch peoples hands. Ken laughed. Just kidding. We told him more about ourselves and exchanged numbers.
  I walked out of my last class and the halls were so filled up, I couldnt stand still to wait for Jason. Right when I got outside the crowd nearly trampled me. I turned over trying to avoid becoming a pancake and Jason grabbed my hand and yanked me out of the herd of upper classmen. We walked to our bus. I didnt really talk so much with the horrible head ache I had, but Jason told me about his wicked math teacher that tripped over a cord from her computer. Since no one can say Ms. Setzbalk without laughing they call her Ms. Sourberry.
  When he was done we laughed and then silence fell. It was like a contagious disease because the rows of conversation stopped. It was oblivious to me that everyone was exhausted with all the Monday test and projects thrown in with homework and new lessons. For me it wasnt that hard. The only project I had was the one in Science and I think Jason said we were going to meet somewhere. I turned to him. Hey whats the plan for the Science project? He opened his eyes and looked over at me. You want to go to my house? I thought about it for a second. My parents wont approve. Then lets go to the park and your siblings can play while we do out work. I thought about it. So know we are bringing my brothers. Does that mean my parents will com
