Why? Do you know and just can't tell us or do you not know?

I'm just relieved that you're safe. Good plan, king.

    Veriti Newbie
Volechek: A bit of both, I'm afraid. I only know the bare essentials to fulfill my role.

Amiti: *he moves to head to the stairs to make his way back to the throne room, not looking back at the other* Of course I'm safe. I'm not their target, I'm just bait.

Yeah, they wanted to draw me and someone else out. *Alex briskly walks, his tall tall legs carry him quickly*

    Felix of Vale Advanced
*Felix cocks an eyebrow* Your role? Do you even want to do this? You seem reluctant.

Volechek: *his expression is fairly blank, which is a practiced skill from being king of belinsk for so long* I'm not stupid, I'm well aware if I were to fight you all, I would die. I have no desire to die just yet.

    Could of fooled me-

Amiti: *they eventually make it back down, and of course at seeing Volechek in the situation he is, he ignores everyone else, clearly trying to suppress his rage* Why ? Just, why? I don't care how you're back- as a fellow ruler, you have to understand how awful your actions are.

Volechek: I am aware, Amiti. I can't give you an explanation. Just know, I have no desire to harm your people.

We'd rather get through this without bloodshed. We just wanted to help Amiti.

*he keeps quiet, gauging the situation while keeping a close eye on everything*

Volechek: So what will you all do now, then? You've practically won, I wasn't given very many soldiers.

You could answer why you're here.

Volechek: ... Very well. I was sent to watch Ayuthay, while you were taken elsewhere, Amiti. I was supposed to warn Veriti, when she arrived, and attempt to take her back. However, I failed on both parts. A real shame. *he makes it sound like it's not a shame in the slightest*

*he kind of stopped listening at Veriti, taking a moment, before glancing at the faces of the other's, and upon spotting her, he just. Well, fair enough his brain shuts down for a moment, before he nervously looks back over, having to pry his gaze away and push aside his questions for now*

    Take her back to who?

Volechek: Why don't you ask 'Arcanus'? He's the one who sided with them when they brought upon the Grave Eclipse to the world, after all. *He looks at Alex, deadpan* Go ahead, tell them.

*he glares at Alex for a moment at that, before looking back over at Veriti, unable to keep from staring at her because she's like, basically a ghost*

Veriti: *however, she's looking at Alex right now, confused as to what all is being talked about, and waiting for an explanation *

I had a plan that required I work for them. I wanted to reawaken two types of psynergy that had laid dormant for a long time, Dark and Light psynergy. The psynergies still existedm but their strength was absolutely miniscule. I didn't want to hurt anyone, but it was necessary to activate the Apollo Lens and the Eclipse Tower. It's like how the Lighthouses had to be lit to restrore Alchemy completely. I didn't know the effect of the Tower would be so horrible.

Volechek: Was it worth it, then? Are you happy now? The Zenith Tribe has in no way forgotten you or your betrayal, and now innocents like Veriti are being drug into their nonsense.

Felix: I hadn't known there were two more types of psynergy, but it makes sense.

Look, I'm not happy with the outcome, but I will deal with it, Volechek. You know I'm extraordinarily good at dealing with things.

Volechek: Very well. Deal with it, then.

Sheba: So, what should we do with him, then? Can't just leave him here.

I can handle it. I do have a prison, after all. *He remarks, crossing his arms* There we only a couple other soldiers, I'm sure they'll give up once they see their leader is arrested. And if they don't.. *he shrugs* I can handle it.
