You are a 16 year old girl in your sophomore year of high school, and just like every other girl you want to have a love life.
One day, Micah sits next to you at lunch, Micah is your secret crush. He sits beside you and you two just eat, in awkward silence.
Micah was known all over the school. He was starter for your high school basketball, and the starting pitcher for you baseball. Even though he was well known in the school, he kept to himself and people barely knew about life outside of school.
He decided to break the silence and talk to you. After 45 minutes of chatting, he mustered up the courage to silently ask you to the class dance coming up in a couple of days. You notice him glancing back over at his friends and wink.
'Could he be asking as a joke?' You think to yourself
"So... Will you?" He says with a smile

"Sure, I'd love to Micah!" You say happily with a sweet smile and he looks over at his friends and winks at them
"Why do you keep looking over there?" You finally asked, a bit worried
"Oh-uh nothing. Just a little thing with me and my friends." He stammered and you give him an unsure look before standing up
"I need to head to class, I will see you around." You say while you pick up your tray and walk off while giving him a small smile and he waves at you before going to join his friends.
'I wonder if it was a dare.' You think to yourself when you realize you only have tonight to pick an outfit, because the dance is tomorrow night.
After school is over you quickly head home to choose something to wear. While you are looking through your closet your phone goes off.
'Who could be texting me.' You think to yourself while you go to your bed and pick up your phone.
You turn on your screen and notice the text message is from Micah.
"I dunno, should I text him back?" You ask yourself aloud while you open out his message.
