1. What is your age? Under 18 Years Old 18 to 24 Years Old 25 to 30 Years Old 31 to 40 Years Old 41 to 50 Years Old 51 to 60 Years Old Over 60 Years Old 2. What is your gender? Male Female 3. How do you feel about abortion? It's the mother's choice. Its her body. Its better not to. It should be illegal, it's murder! It's not really a big deal. It's not really a human yet. 4. How do you feal about affirmative action?
People should be hired for jobs or accepted by schools based only on their ability and not their race. Reverse-discrimination is not a solution for racism. People should be treated more equally without race being a decisive factor. Minorities have had trouble getting equal jobs and educations in the past. It's good to help them get ahead. Minorities have been discriminated against throughout history and often still are. It is a nation's obligation to make sure they have advantages to equal the playing field. 5. How do you feel about the death penalty? Executing a murderer is the appropriate punishment for taking an innocent life. It's ok I guess. I don't think it's right. The death penalty is inhumane and is cruel and unusual punishment. 6. How do you feel about global warming? Changes in global temperatures are natural over long periods of time. So far, science has not shown that humans can affect permanent change to the earth's temperature. It's mostly natural but we could do a little more to keep an eye on it. We should be more careful with the enviroment. We are the leading cause for global warming. We are causing global warming, no doubt. We need to enact laws to make sure that we cannot hurt the earth anymore than we already have. 7. Gun Control The Second Amendment gives the individual the right to keep and bear arms. Gun control laws do not thwart criminals. You have a right to defend yourself against criminals. An armed populace means less crime. It's ok to regulate gun dealing as long as it doesn't violate the second amendment. We should control them a lot more. It causes problems. The Second Amendment gives no individual the right to own a gun, but allows the state to keep a militia (National Guard). Guns kill people, including children. 8. How about health care? Free healthcare provided by the government (socialized medicine) means that everyone will get the same poor-quality healthcare. Health care should remain privatized. It's better the way it is but it needs a little reform. Socialized medicine is better I guess. That way everyone gets taken care of. There are millions of Americans who can't afford health insurance. They are being deprived of a basic right to healthcare. 9. Patriot Act Good idea! Don't care No sir! 10. Religion The phrase "separation of church and state" is not in the Constitution. The First Amendment to the Constitution states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." We should be allowed to express our beliefs if we want to as long as we aren't offending people. We shouldn't allow any religious references in the government. Its not really fair to people of other religions. All references to God in public and government spaces must be removed. Religion should not interfere with government at all. 11. Same-sex marriage
Marriage is between one man and one woman. Allowing same-sex marriages violates moral and religious beliefs of millions of Christians, Jews, Muslims and others who believe marriage is the union of a man and a woman. We probably shouldn't allow it. It's not right. Let them do what they want. Marriage should be legal for LGBT couples to ensure equal rights for all. All individuals, regardless of their gender identity, have the right to marry. 12. How about welfare? We need to provide opportunities to make it possible for poor and low-income workers to become self-reliant. It is far more compassionate and effective to encourage a person to become self-reliant, rather than keeping them dependent on the government for everything I don't care We need welfare to provide for the poor. Conservatives oppose welfare because they are not compassionate toward the poor. We have welfare to bring fairness to American economic life. Without welfare, life below the poverty line would be intolerable.
