Today I learned that I am a hamster -
Okay, well there are some cons to having one (for me) but there's gonna be cons to everything. Let's look at gerbils now..

Okay, I'll do a list this time.
Gerbil Pros:
-Not nocturnal
-they need enrichment (fun!!)
Gerbil Cons:
-It says they need their fathers. Huh?
-"owning one is a big responsibility" Well I suppose that's how it is for any pet lol
-theyre sensitive to ultrasound (which can come from TVs or computer screens apparently)
-they find handling stressful -
I'm discouraged I'll just keep acting like my plushies are pets

What is my problem? I'm afraid I won't be able to handle the responsibility. What if the animal doesn't like me? What if it gets sick because of one of my mistakes? How broken will I be when it passes?? Why did I jump to that?!
