And there's a girl in there so it's a miracle.
The other day, I was thinking about how I never gave this guy a motherly figure while I did it for almost all of my other characters. Then I remembered how a few months ago I was considering giving him a motherly figure or at least a past woman who could have taken care of him, yet then I told myself that I shouldn't do so.
Even when you have a mother, it is devastating to have her not be with you all the time or have one who is not a good example.. So not having one at all must be just horrible.
In this picture, the two of them are the very same person. But the girl is his 'genderbender', called Josefina.
I apologize for my crappy handwriting and for the fact that it's in Spanish. But it translates roughly to "I will be your mother.. Even if I am a lie."
I never determined why exactly I had created a female version other than for the fun of it and for use in more feminine situations, but at this point I've been saying to myself that she is just a part of his imagination and in reality is not real.. When you're lonely, it becomes more likely that you'll develop some kind of imaginary friend, especially if you're a younger one. When you lack a parent, it's common to dream of someone who could have been.
Those of you that are familiar with this character know that he's been cracked mentally. And I was thinking that during the period of time that he was at his worst, he must have imagined Josefina and made her a part of what he wanted to be his life, and finds it hard to admit that she is not real..
God, I'm so depressing sometimes. xD -
