Her eyes went from kind to hard "Yea if I stayed i'd be another royal sitting on my ass while others fight for me." Steps away from him.

I close my eyes, that was exactly how I felt too, but should I tell her?

Spins around and sits on the cot. "Where are you even taking me?" She was super frustrated.

"The capital, I guess" I lean on the doorframe.

Puts her face in her hands "Why?"

"I dont know. My orders, I guess" I say quietly, looking down.

"Ugh." She groaned and fell back glaring at the ceiling. She hated this. How he made her feel, she just wanted home.

"If it counts for anything. Im sorry." I look into her eyes and say it as sincere as I could, then I turned and started to close the door.

"Wait..." She called softly.. She half hoped he wouldnt look back. The rest of her wanted him to.

I dont turn around, "what?" I ask softly.

She looked at him a kind look in her eyes "Alicia. Call me Jay or A."
