He called out softly "Hey! Identify yourself!" He kept Nikki behind him as hemoved. Lily followed next to Nikki.

"Lily stay close" She said as she moved closer to Jason.

He had his Ax ready. "Hey!" He called again "We mean no harm as long as you mean no harm to us!" He kept his eyes on the girl ahead of us

"Yeah." Said Nikki as she put her hand on her holster holding her revolver.

He put the ax in his bag on the side and held his hands up "We good?" He could tell she was around 13.

Nikki nodded at Jason. "I'm Nikki, Whats your name?" And then she stuck out her hand.

"Jason." He nodded and looked around. "It's getting dark, c'mon I've been in a house near here. We'll be safe. You can trust me." He looked Ilee in the eyes proving he was trust worthy

Nikki put her hand down. "Where are you headed Ilee?" Nikki said as she looked at the little girl standing next to Ilee.

He looked at the small child and looked away quickly. To much pain. "You guys ready?" He asked

"Oh-h I was just........." Said Nikki as her voice trailed off then she looked at Jason, Then put her hand into his "We are trying to look for a car to get outta' here"

"We need to rest for the night. Come on don't use your guns!" He picked up the little girl.in his arms and started running. "Let's go!" Lily followed him hard on his heels as he led the way to the house he was staying in.
