"Black Books" is set in a small, independent bookshop in the Bloomsbury area of central London. The show is based around the lives and often surreal antics of its foul-mouthed, eccentric, misanthropic, alcoholic Irish owner Bernard Black, his assistant Manny, and their friend Fran.

If you're a fan of the show, you undoubtedly have a favourite character. I try to avoid them, but they keep popping up!
