TIN (Totally In Love)

  1. It's lunchtime. You get your lunch tray and sit down. The table is empty, until four guys who are all cute in their own way sit down. Girls turn to stare at them, and glare at you. You shrug, loving the attention. Then you gaze at the guy across from you. "Calvin," he says simply, his shaggy brown hair reminding you of a dog. "I'm..." you try to reply, but he puts a finger to your lips. "We know who you are," he says softly, gazing into your eyes.
  2. Okay, let's say you chose the third one. "Why dont you eat while we tell you," he says smoothly, looking mildly annoyed. He removed his finger and gestured to the short, black-haired guy beside him. "That's James. The guy on your left is Keith, and the guy on your right is Ethan." All the guys grunt except Keith, who gives you a huge smile and says, "You're different, ______. Special".
  3. You raise an eyebrow and ask slowly, as if talking to a mentally ill person, "What. Do. You. Mean." Keith's smile fades. "What I mean, is you're one of us. Possibly more powerful than us." You stare at him. "You're joking, right?" You ask. "No, he's not," Ethan smiles kind of sadly, moving his black hair out of his eyes.
  4. "I don't have time for this!" you say, breaking the silence. You leap up and dash for the girls bathroom. In an instant, all four guys are in front of you, arms crossed, blocking your path. "Listen, sunshine," snarls Calvin. Keith punches his arm. James snickers, the first sound you hear from him. "Sorry for their rude behavior," Ethan says kind of sheepishly. But you're too mad to hear him. "Since when is my name Sunshine?!" you yell, glaring at Calvin. You try to give him a shove, but you only hurt your hand. "Ow," you murmer, sinking to the floor. You see Calvin's face getting downright ugly. "Calvin," warns Keith, his hands balled up into fists. But it's too late. He stomps his foot and the school erupts in flames. "Look what you've done!" yells Ethan. "We've got to take her away," you hear James speak. "No...no," you whine, barely audible. They ignore you and Keith sweeps you into his arms. Then, all is black...
  5. Your eyes snap open. All four guys are leaning over you. "She's alive!" James breaks into a broad grin. "I'm alive," you murmer weakly. Your surrondings are unfamiliar. You're in a bright, white room on a bed. All four guys look like they want to leap into the bed with you. You sit up, and the only thing you can remember is sitting down, ready to eat lunch. "W-where am I? W-who are you?" you stammer. "Don't you remember?" Ethan asks you. "Of course she doesn't!" snaps Calvin. He closes his eyes, claps, and suddenly the memories come flooding back to you. When he opens his eyes again, all you can do is stare at him. "What?" he asks, not unkindly. "N-nothing," you shake your head. "She's wondering if she really has powers," James smiles. Keith leans down and touches your arm, an understanding smile on his face.

  7. "James, you can read my mind?" you ask, your eyebrow raised in disbelief. He shrugs, a modest smile on his face. "Yeah, I kinda can. But I'll try not to butt into your buisness," he winks, and you blush. Calvin rolls his eyes. "It's not as good as making fire," he mutters. "Like that stunt you pulled at school?" you tease. "Yeah," he grins. "Exactly."
  8. "Exactly," mimicks Ethan, and you all burst out laughing, even Calvin. "We all have powers," Ethan explains, once the laughter died down. "Calvin plays with fire--" Another burst of laughter. "James can read minds, I play with water..." Ethan grinned. "And I'm super strong," Keith adds, smirking.
  9. "Well, what can I do?" you ask, ready to learn what awesome power you could possibly posses. "We don't exactly know yet," Calvin replied uneasily. You nod, dissapointed. "Don't worry," James laughs. "We'll find out soon."
  10. Suddenly, there is a loud crash. A tall guy with blonde hair, tan skin, and brown eyes appears in front of you. He flashes you a grin. "I'm sorry," he says smoothly. "Did I interrupt something?" All four guys are scowling now. Under their breaths, they all growl, "Carter."
