Paranormal Love (part 22)

Hey everyone, welcome to part 22 of my Paranormal Love series. Last time I put a question in the intro, I was surprised at how many people actually read this. I was also happy that I was on most of your lists. Thank you, my awesome readers! :) I was wondering if I should do a question of the day thing like Dannica. If you want me to do that, post in the comments! :)

Recap: you woke up (well partially) in the middle of the night to find yourself outside being carried away by people you don't recognize. You call for Bryan, Allissa, and Anthony in your mind, only Bryan responds, but then you are knocked out.

  1. ***Bryan's P.O.V.*** I was super worried, why didn't ____ get to finish her sentence? Well, she said "help", so that's what I'm going to do. I jumped out of bed and ran to _____'s room... she wasn't there, just the covers were peeled back and everything else looked normal. What could have happened? I tried reaching her again. "_____?!? _____?! Where are you?!?!" I yelled in my mind. There was no response. I looked out the window, I didn't see anything weird until something caught my eye. It was a very fast moving car followed by another that was also moving pretty fast. Just then, the car in front dissapeared into thin air. A name came up my mind. "Slate." This could only be the work of him. He must have sent some agent with a teleporting power to get _____. Well he's not going to get away with it so easily! I felt my face heat up from being angry.
  2. ***Heidi's P.O.V.*** I had Seth teleport the car out of veiw because I noticed golden eyes looking out from ____'s window. Slate told me about this. Those eyes either belonged to Bryan or Anthony... probably Bryan. They'll probably follow us, so we had to get outta there ASAP. "Good job teleporting the car, Seth." I said. "No problem, just don't make me do it again. Do you know how much energy teleporting a whole car takes?" Seth asked. "I can imagine." I said. "Heidi, you have to teach me how to knock people out by pinching thier shoulder. That is so cool!" Ty said. "Maybe later. It takes a lot of practice." I said. Just then, my cellphone rang. It was Riley. I picked up the phone. "Hello?" I said. "Where did you guys go?" Riley asked. "Seth teleported us. I think Bryan saw us. We're about a mile ahead of you. You might wanna get outta here." I said. "Got it." Riley replied. "Drew, drive faster!" Is what I heard before he hung up. In case you didn't know by now, Seth was driving the car that I was in, Ty was in the passenger seat, and I was sitting in the back with an unconsious _____. It looked like she was asleep though, so no one would suspect anything. Following behind us was Drew, Jade, Mikey, and Riley. None of them had teleportation powers though, so they stayed where they were.
  3. The car ride was silent for a while, but then I noticed something around ____'s neck. It was a super pretty necklace. The necklace had a shiny silver chain and a small, heart shaped glass bead. What was inside the bead looked like neon purple lava. "I've never seen anything like this before." I said. "What are you talking about?" Ty asked turning around. "_____'s necklace." I said. "Maybe she got it when we went shopping." I reached out and touched the necklace, I pulled my hand away in an instant, "Ow!" I yelled. "What happened?" Ty asked. "I don't know, my hand just started hurting really badly." I said. "Was it this necklace?" I was stupid enough to touch it again. "OW!" I screamed. The pain in my hand doubled. "Okay, new rule. Don't touch ____'s necklace. I bet Slate can figure out what this is later." I said shaking my hand around hoping to get rid of some of the pain.
  4. ***Allissa's P.O.V.*** I was asleep when I heard ____'s voice in my head scream out my name. I figued it was nothing since I always see and hear weird stuff in my mind when I'm sleeping. Not soon after, I felt like I was being shaken awake. I opened my eyes. It was Anthony. "Allissa," he said. "Ugh. What?" I said groggily and sat up. "I'm kind of worried about ____, can you go check on her?" Anthony asked. "You gotta be kidding me. Can't you just do it yourself?" I asked. "I'm too lazy. Pleeease, Allissa?" Anthony said in a sweet tone. That tone usually works on me, but when I first wake up, my brain doesn't really function. I was about to tell him no when Bryan burst through the door. "Dear God Bryan, haven't you ever heard of knocking?" I said. Bryan's eyes were glowing gold, that's a sign that he needs to turn into his magical form but hasn't yet. "Now is not the time for knocking, now is the time for saving ____!" Bryan said urgently. "What happened?" Anthony asked. "She's been kidnapped! I think by some of Slate's agents!" Bryan blurted out. "See, I told you I had a bad feeling about ____." Anthony said. "Oh, grow up, Anthony! We have to save her." I said. Wow, I'm super nice when I first get up, but I guess right now it doesn't really matter how I'm acting. Bryan got the rest of the guys up. We all met in the living room. "Wait, we need a better plan than just going back to Slate's castle and bringing _____ back. It worked the first time, but I doubt it will work again." Chris said. "True. He's probably improved the security." Nick said. "And who knows? Maybe that's not even where they're taking her." I added. "So how will we find her?" Ethan asked. "Hm, I think I might know..." Chris said. "How?" the rest of us asked. We stayed up until sunrise forming a plan of attack.
  5. ***Heidi's P.O.V.*** It felt like we were driving for an eternity. I was starting to get impatient. It was getting light outside, we must have been on the road for a long time. I spaced out for a while when my surroundings began to look familiar again. We were getting closer to Slate's castle. Finally we arrived there. _____ was still unconsious. I might have pinched her shoulder a little too hard... oh well, she'll wake up eventually. We got out of the car. Seth picked _____ up and we walked twords the front entrance. The gaurds let us in. Slate was already waiting for us. His face lit up at the sight of _____. "Good job, guys! You got her! And for that, you may have some time off." Slate said. I've never seen him so happy in years. "Won't you need us though?" I asked. "Well, stay close to the castle. But her frinds probably won't want to come here. ____ is not going to be here for very long anyway." "Why?" I asked. "What are you going to do?" "I've got that under control." Slate said. "Seth, hand me ____." Slate said. Seth did as he was told. "Alright. You and Ty may go. Tell Drew, Jade, Riley, and Mikey what I said when they get back." Slate said. Seth and Ty nodded and walked away. Slate turned to me. "Heidi, for now you are free, but when I leave with _____ either tomorrow or tonight, I need you temporarily take my place. Think you can do it?" Slate asked. "Of course I can, I'm Heidi." I replied confidently. "Good. I know you won't let me down." Slate said with a cute half smile. I'd have a crush on him if I didn't have to work for him. "Out of curiousity, where are you going, and how long will you be gone?" I asked. "The location is a secret, and I'll be gone long enough to convince _____ to leave those traders and stay with me." Slate said. I didn't ask any further questions because I knew that was all Slate was going to tell me. "Thank you Heidi." he said and walked away with ____ in his arms.
  6. ***Your P.O.V.*** You wake up in this room you're not familiar with. The room sorta reminds you of a tower that you might lock a princess up in, only it had a door. The room was big and beautiful, the walls were painted with great detail. Most of the stuff painted on the wall was nature and other pretty stuff. Whoever painted this was a really good artist. There was a big, elegant looking window to your right. You got off the comfy, queen sized bed you were laying on and walked to the window. It had a view of a pretty forest, and you could see mountains off in the distance. The blue sky and pure white clouds really made the mountains pop. It reminded you of being back at the mansion... wait, the mansion? The room and the outside veiw was so pretty, that you forgot you had no idea where you were. You had flashbacks of last night. Being carried outside, being put into the back of the car, calling Bryan, Anthony, and Allissa for help, having Bryan respond, and finally being pinched on the shoulder. You don't remember anything else after that. "Who were those people? Did they take me here? Where exactly is here?" Questions flooded your mind.
  7. You hear the handle of the door turning. Your heart speeds up and you don't know what to expect. The door slowly opens and you see...
  8. Jace. You are surprised, relieved, happy, and scared at the same time. "Jace?" you say in shock. You then remember what the guys told you. "Or should I call you Slate?" you ask. Jace's smile fades away. "So you found out?" he asks. You nod. "Why didn't you tell me the truth?" you ask. "I knew the guys already trashed 'Slate' in front of you, so I thought maybe you'd listen to Jace. Which is in fact my first name, so it wasn't totally a lie." Jace says. "You have a lot of explaining to do." you say. "Alright." Jace says. He closes the door and sits down on the bed, you sit down next to him. "What exactly do you want to know?" he asks. "First of all, where am I and who brought me here?" you ask. "You're in a room in my castle, I knew you wouldn't willingly go, so I had some of my agents take you here." Jace says. "How did you even find me?" you ask. "Actually, it wasn't me that found you. It was one of my best agents. She was staying at the same spot that the guys took you to." Jace replies. This sounded so familiar, then it popped into your mind. "It was Heidi!" you blurt out. "Yes, how did you know?" Jace asks. "She was pretending to be my friend. Ugh! I can't beieve she lied to me!" you say feeling angry and a bit hurt. "I'm sorry, ____. But she had to." Jace says. He gives you an innocent look with his sexy dark brown eyes. The amber around his pupil only makes his eyes more attactive. You missed those eyes weather you want to admit it or not. Jace places his hand on top of yours. His hands are warm and comforting. You forget about Heidi and get butterflies in your stomach.
  9. You mentally slap yourself. "What am I doing?!" you think. "I'm trying to get answers, not check out Jace who is... really hot. Oh stop it, self!" You come back to reality. "Is it true that you're a demon, and that you're Chris' half brother?" you ask. Jace sighs. "Yes. That's all true. I'm sure Chris told you the story." Jace says. "He did." you say. "He told me about your father, your tatoo, and your hatred for humans. Can you explain more?" "Okay. Well I guess I'll start with telling you about my father." Jace says. "He was a demon, but that didn't automatically make him evil. It was his personality that made him evil. He was cruel to just about everyone. He always doubted me, bossed me around, and yelled at me for as long as I could remember. Chris feared him, so he never really was around him if he could help it. My father had a strong hatered for humans and always told me they were bad news. I found out he was totally right. I've heard and seen so many bad things about humans, it's not even funny." Jace says. You nod telling him to go on. "Well, in high school not soon after Chris, Bryan, and I got tatoos that symbolized our friendship, my father died. No one knows how he died, but he just died. Like I said, he always doubted me. Plus humans were treating me worse and worse everyday, so I guess I just snapped. I wanted all the humans to be gone. It would prove my father wrong and make the world a better place. I guess I bacame kind of obsessed with it and Chris disowned me. But I had way more supernatural beings on my side, so they kinda became the enemy." Jace says. "I can see your point, and I'm really sorry, but humans aren't that bad, trust me. I've lived with them pretty much my whole life." you say.
  10. "____, I think you're unaware of how cruel and horrible humans really are." Jace says. "They have their faults, but they still aren't..." "____." Jace cuts you off. "There's nothing I can say, to convince you, so I guess I'll just have to show you instead." "How?" you ask. "Close your eyes and focus completely on me. Try and read my mind." Jace says. You do as you're told. Jace leans his forhead against yours and closes his eyes. You see nothing but blackness for a few seconds but then you start seeing things... super horrific things... things like...
  11. CLIFFHANGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry, I had to do it! You guys are really lucky I'm still sick. I spent all day writing this. Who do you like?
