	I celebrate Christmas because of what it stands for. I follow more of the, "peace on earth and good will towards man." perspective. I can justify that because Christmas is a nationally acknowledged holiday. Also, Christmas isnt a christian holy day. It's pagan. Back during the crusades, Christian preasts made the day up to help convert pagans to Christianity. So technically, if you're true christian, you shouldnt celebrate christmas because it's a hethan belief. And what does gay have to do with anything?

	This person's a wuss. Christmas isn't for Christians. Yeah, it's on Jesus' birthday. But the point of Christmas is to give and spend time with family.

	I celebrate Christmas because it's kind of expected in our society and because my family celebrates Christmas. I personally don't like it much. But I think it's okay for atheists to celebrate Christmas.

	Ana, fanatical behavior and ignorance follow anything that requires blind faith. If the idea is open to interpretation, there will always be those who interpret it in a negative way. Sadly, not even atheism is safe from this. Some people become an atheist to either rebel against their parents or because they think it's cool. Theism and Atheism alike are imperfect. But atheism has definitly got the less extreme flaws.
