  1. Recap: “You’re wrong. Yes, we asked you here because we believe you can help us, but we are ALL really glad that you are you and you are here” You sniff. “Really?” “Really.”
  2. Darkness. That’s all you see when you open your eyes… if their even open. You sit up in bed. ‘Where am I?’ you think to yourself. Then it all come back in a tidal wave of memories. The guys, powers, mansion. You grin. Yeah that’s right! My life rocks.
  3. You roll over and look at the clock. 3 in the freaking morning. You groan and slam back down onto the bed. After staring at your ceiling fan for a while, you decide you’re gonna take a walk. So you wear...
  4. You put that on and silently walk downstairs and out the back door. You look back to make sure none of the lights turned on, then continue to walk towards the woods, which are about 100 yards from the house. You enter the forest and slow your pace to a nice, steady walk. You think over all the guys and why you like each of them, but one so more than the others.
  5. Suddenly a twig snaps behind you and you whirl around. You gasp. “Maverick!” You shout. “You scared the crap outa me!” He chuckles softly. “I saw you leave. It’s not safe out here alone.” You sigh. “Well I kinda wanted to be alone.” “Okay” He shrugs and turns around to leave. “Hey!” He looks at you over his shoulder. “Since you’re here you might as well stay.” He grins and holds out his arm. You loop yours through his and you guys continue down the path you were on before. After a few moments of blissful silence, he stops and turns to you. “____” he says nervously. “There’s something I need to tell you.”
  6. You stare at him silently as he shifts from foot to foot. You wait. Finally he blurts “Maverick isn’t my real name”
  7. You gasp. He sighs and explains. “I was orphaned when I was 4. My parents died because they were drunk and high out of their minds and killed each other. In front of me.” He takes a collective breath and you grab his hand. He smiles and interlocks your fingers. “My real name is Marcus. But I didn’t want any connection to my parents at all. So I changed it to Maverick, because it means rebel. But now that you’re here… I don’t want to be who I’m not anymore. So let’s start over.” He lets go of your hand, then holds his out. “Hi. My name is Marcus. What’s yours?” You laugh as you shake his hand and say your name. He laughs with you and wraps his arm around your waist and you two keep walking.
  8. You walk and talk until the sun starts to come up. You’re sitting together at the top of a hill, watching the sunrise. You lean into Marcus’ chest and wrap your arms around him. He rests his chin on the top of your head. You stay like that until the sun has risen. He helps you up and you guys walk back to the house in peaceful silence.
  9. You guys walk inside and go into the dining room for breakfast. All the other guys are already there and look super tired. Bobby even fell asleep in his cereal! You walk over to him, take the cereal bowl away, and rest his head on a napkin. The guys snicker. You smile and softly ask “So who’s gonna carry him up to bed?” Taylor sneezed loudly, making Bobby jerk and fall out of his chair. You all crack up. He gets up, laughing too, and brushes himself off. “Very funny guys. Very funny.”
  10. “Why are you guys so tired?” You ask. Jake rubs his eyes and yawns. “We all heard the door slam, so we ran downstairs and saw that it was just Maverick-“ “Marcus.” Marcus corrects. Jake blinks. “Oh yeah. Sorry. Anyway, we saw it was just him so we decided to play video games for 4 hours.” You laugh
  11. “Oh! Hey can you guys explain the whole powers thing to me?” You ask. The guys smile. “Sure!” they all run out of the kitchen into the living room. All except Jake. He pushed his glasses up a little, they walked to you and wrapped you in a warm hug. After he lets go, you ask, “Not that I don’t love your hugs, but what was that for?” “After Marcus left, I went to check on you, but you weren't’ in your bed. It scared me, ____. Then I realized that you were with Marcus and…” He looked away. You realize what he’s implying and quickly explain that you guys didn’t do anything. He looks relieved. Hand in hand, you guys walk into the living room and sit down. You sit by…
  12. You sit by him and pull you knees up to your chest, waiting patiently. Jake grins at you. “Let’s begin.”
