Unfortunately though, because of the insensitivity that plagues foreigners and the stereotyping within a more racially-segregated community, many foreigners are shunned by locals and some never know why. Sometimes it is for something they can't control, like they look stereotypical of a certain type of personality. But more often it's because of their own unconscious prejudice.
