5. A human offer's you a mint, what do you do??
Give a whicker and take it softly
Hesitate, then slowly lip it from their hand
BITE EM! that mint's yours!
Put your ears back and toss your head angrily
Take it, whatever
Paw the ground, you dont want it from their hand
6. Another horse is trying to get into your feed bucket in the pasture!
Put your ears back and give a slight Squeal
Walk away, whatever.. it's just food
Kick them hard in the gut and snap your teeth angrily
Charge around whinnying and squealing
Become nervous and slowly walk away
Let's share, this horse is my friend
7. Oh Dear, you're on a trail ride and the horse behind you is way too close, how do you react?
Take a glance back, maybe a slight whicker of warning
Pinn back your ears and raise your head, but keep walking
Slow down, if they want to be up your bottom then so be it
Ignore them, it's fine.. keep going
Speed up alittle, try and get some space between you
Freak out, Kick them and whinny, try to pull forward
8. The rider's at your barn are going on a camping trip! your rider is taking you, but the trailer's your only block from fun.. what do you do?
Load up eagerly, push and shove to get in
Nu-uh, back away and tug on the ropes
Walk up the ramp, then hop off when they're hopes are up
walk in happily, just go, there's no fuss
Check there's a haynet and stuff, if not then just cope
NO! Run, pull and rear until they put you back
9. You hear they're selling you! what do you do!
Scream, whinny and kick about in your stall
Accept it, maybe the grass will be greener
Just go along with it, humans are all the same
Nothing I can do, right?
AHH Panic!! What If I go to slaughter, Help!
Wait, see how it goes. If someone comes to see you react on that
10. You're on a trail ride, but there's a wide and deep puddle infront of you, what will you do?
Try and find a way around it, I can see a small muddy path
Go through it, who care's. It's only water
Sniff at it, hesitantly step in and rush through
Run! bolt through it, it's quicker
In we go, let's just wade through slowly
Walk backwards, rear and whiny
11. It's time to tack up! how will you behave for the human with your saddle and bridle?
Take the bit and breath in!
Raise your head, the saddles fine but the bit taste's wierd!
Insist that the human warms up the metal first
No, Paw the ground and puff out your belly
Lower your head, then throw it up quickly!
Back away alittle, be weary, but let them tack you up
12. The Farrier's Here...
Raise your hoof and let him change the hooves
Sit on the van. I don't need new shoes
Keep pulling your leg away when you see that shoe
Allow the shoe to go on, it's no biggie
Freak out when the first nail's gone in
Nope. You're not even going to lift your foot up.
13. There's a new horse, he's in the stable next to you and he's your pasture buddie too! what do you do?
Turn your tail on him, Don't make eye contact
Ugh, another newbie. Ignore Him.
Nicker Hello and give him a groom
Go for a gallop, try and play!
Kick out and snap at him, "GO away!"
Nudge him and give a warm whicker, welcome him
