Premonitions (part 16)

Jingle bells don't moo, they quack! dody: thank you :). SoccerTomboy13: it creates drama XD. AliZoey: I feel like everyone likes Kaylee's POV better, but they also like Skye :P. Yep, no problem :). MysteryEmoGirl: psh, gurl.... You be cray-cray. Haha just kidding :P. I didn't expect anyone to like Caine.

  1. Kelly: "Skye!" I yelled and the medics came and got his body, putting him on a stretcher. They rushed him inside and when I went to follow, I fell to the ground because my leg was starting to hurt again. "Ma'am, are you okay?" A medic asked me and I looked up at him. His eyes got wide when he saw my leg, no longer covered with the bandage. "I need another squad over here." He said into his walkie-talkie. I stood back up. "Help will be here shortly. Sit back down." He told me. "No, I need to go see how my friend is." I took a step and managed to not fall down. "He's in good hands. Just relax and sit down." Another group of medics came out of the door.
  2. "Relax? Are you fricken kidding me?" I snapped. "If you've gone through the same thing that I've been through, you wouldn't be able to relax. Heck, you'd probably be dead." I yelled, which made my adrenaline rush. I dodged the medics and ran inside. I turned down a hallway and saw some medics go into a room. I ran down it and Jason had to stop me from going into the room. "Kelly, there's nothing that we can do. They'll make sure that he lives." Jason told me. "But he was dead when I last saw him." I said. "Ma'am, would you please come with us?" I turned around and saw the medics standing there. I looked back at Jason. "Go on. I'll come find you if they revive him." He said. "Thank you." I said and then walked to the medics. They led me to a room and I sat on the bed. A doctor came in and didn't say a word as she fixed the cut my head and my burns. "You're going to have to go into surgery for your leg." She informed me and I nodded my head. She walked over to the right side of the bed and grabbed a wheelchair. She wheeled it in front of me and I sat on it. She pushed me through the door and down the hallway. We entered a room and she told me to put on a hospital gown. I did and when I came back, there were four doctors there. I laid on the bed and one of them put a clear mask over my nose and mouth. I breathed and my vision started to go a little fuzzy. Someone put a shot in my left thigh to numb it. That was the last thing I remembered before I drifted off into darkness.
  3. When I woke up, I was back in the room where I was originally in. Jason was sitting on a chair next to my bed. "Hey." He said. "How's Skye?" I asked. "They revived him, but they don't know how long it's going to last. Rose and Felix are up there with him." He replied and I nodded my head. I saw my clothes on a chair on the end of my bed. "You should get some sleep." Jason said and then walked out of the room. I pulled the thin blanket off of me, and looked down at my leg. It was neatly wrapped in a bandage and when I bent my leg, it didn't hurt. I got up and took a step. That didn't hurt either, so I walked to my clothes, and took them to the bathroom. I almost screamed in surprise when I saw my reflection. My hair was in a tangled mess, I had bags under my eyes, and my face looked haunted. I grabbed the brush sitting besides the sink and untangled my hair. I smiled and thought happy thoughts to get rid of my face looking haunted. I couldn't do anything about the bags under my eyes, but I did look better.
  4. I grabbed my clothes and realized that only my white flowing shirt was mine. The skinny jeans and red converse weren't mine. I put them on and walked out of the bathroom. I opened up the room door and saw Jason walking the other way. I silently closed the door behind me and ran to the stairs. I walked up them and headed to where I guessed Skye was: room 262. I was right, and when I opened the door, I saw Rose and Felix sitting by Skye's bed. Skye, however, wasn't awake. "Kelly!" Rose excitedly said and then ran over to me. "Hey, Rose." I smiled and lifted her up. "Kelly, Skye isn't waking up." Rose complained. "I know, but that's okay. He's just tired." I lied, which got me a look from Felix. "Hey, why don't you guys go get some food. You must be starving." I suggested as I put Rose back on the ground. "Okay. Come on, Felix." Rose ran over to Felix and grabbed his hand, pulling him after her. When the door closed behind them, a figure stepped out of the shadows, and I realized that it was one of the Shades from the road.
  5. "How did you get here?" I asked. He had dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He looked like he was about fifteen. "I was in the car with you." He shrugged. "Why are you here?" I asked. "Oh, that's simple. I'm here to take you back." He replied and then leaned against the wall. "I'm not going anywhere." I said. "In case you didn't notice, your protector over here is knocked out, so he can't save you. And the only power that you can use to protect yourself, creates a sonic boom that shatters stuff and will make your boyfriend die because you'll break the equipment keeping him alive." He pointed out. "Thank you for reminding me of that, but you missed something. I have fists and I have a voice. Now, I may not be the strongest person, but my scream is loud as hell. I'm sure that someone will hear me." I met his gaze and my anger bubbled. "You win this time, Night, but I wouldn't be so sure about Rose and Felix." He said and then walked out of the room. Before I could go after him, Jason bursted into the room. "Kelly, you need to leave." He told me. "Why?" I asked. "A Shade's here to get you." He replied. "Yeah, I know. He just came." I said. "What? That's impossible. He was just downstairs with Kaylee." He said. "Wait. Kaylee's here?" I asked, now confused.
  6. "Yes, now you need to leave." Jason said and then grabbed my wrist, pulling me towards the door. "But what about Skye?" I asked. "I'll look after him. Just go!" Jason commanded and then I ran out of the door. I was about to go down the stairs when two things happened: I remembered about Rose and Felix and I heard someone running up them. I quickly turned around and bolted down the hallway. I heard footsteps running after me, and I ran down the first set of stairs that I saw. I whipped around a corner and headed straight for the cafeteria. The footsteps behind me were slowly getting closer as I neared the cafeteria doors. "Nobody move, and nobody gets hurt!" I heard someone say inside the cafeteria. I bursted into the cafeteria and saw the Shade from upstairs standing there with his gun pointed at Rose's head. I didn't slow down and I tackled him to the ground. His gun flew across the floor, out of reach.
  7. I got up and ran over to Rose and Felix. "Felix, take Rose back upstairs to Skye, and stay there." I said and he nodded his head. They both ran out of the cafeteria and I saw one of the guys from the cell standing there with a gun in his hand. "Everyone, out! Now!" He commanded and then patients and family members hurried out of the cafeteria. "Who are you?" I asked when everyone was gone. "Oh, that's right. We haven't officially met. I'm Caine." He said and then took a step forward. I took a step back. "Where's Kaylee?" I asked. "She's in a hallway knocked out." Caine replied. "What do you want?" I asked. "Isn't it obvious? I want you, Kelly. And I'm pretty good at getting what I want." He said and took another step forward. I took another step back. "Spoiled much?" I said. "Just a little bit." He answered and the Shade on the ground got up. "Jacob, go block the door." Jacob walked over to the doors and put a table there, preventing anyone from coming in.
  8. "Now, why don't you be a good girl and come with us without a fight?" Caine said and something about the way he said that made something inside of my snap. "I'd love to see you make me." I said and crossed my arms. "You asked for it." He said and then shadows came at his feet. He disappeared and he reappeared in front of me. I instantly kicked him in the stomach, knocking the breath out of him. I turned around and tried to run to the kitchen, but Caine appeared there again. He grabbed my neck, lifted me in the air, and slammed me down on a table, making my back crack. "I hope this hurts." He said and then started to choke me. I felt a strange energy flowing through my body and then Caine flew backwards. I gasped for air and rolled over onto my hands and knees, coughing.
  9. I got off the table and saw Caine unconscious on the ground and Jacob standing by an open window. He lit his hands on fire and made a fire go around the whole cafeteria. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Making sure that you aren't going to be here for much longer." He said and a gust of wind made Caine go out of the window. Jacob followed him and then turned around. He stared at the fire and it became bigger, quickly spreading towards me. He closed the window and ran out of view. Smoke filled the room and I began to cough. I ran to the kitchen and opened the door. Fire took up every space in the kitchen. I closed the door and jogged to the front doors. Fire surrounded the table, making it impossible for me to touch it. I began to feel dizzy from all of the smoke and then I felt the strange energy inside of me again. The table moved away from the doors and I pushed through the doors. As soon as I stepped into the hallway, I fell to the ground, and passed out from all of the smoke I inhaled.
  10. Cliffhanger!! So, I just wanted to really quickly tell you that I got my homecoming dress and it's red and kind of flowie. It's strapless and kinda tight, but it has this light silky cloth that comes off of it, and that's what I meant by "flowie".... I probably just made no sense XD.
