Ah. Same, and kind of bored.)
She choked back the laugh she wanted to let out and settled for a chuckle. "Yeah, I guess. I had a few back home." She walked to another flower and made sure no one was looking before surreptitiously smelling it. -
I'm always tired anymore~)
Alex was secretly watching her and shook his head slightly with amusement. "Well I keep this unlocked at all times of the day.. I also have a few empty pots around here if you wish to grow your own flowers." He rubbed the sweat off his forehead and headed back towards the door. "Come on, there's more to see." -
It's probably the weather~)
She nodded at his comments, already planning her days out, and moved to follow him. "Okay." -
Meh. Cold and rainy kinda make me happy oddly enough.)
He shoved his hands into his pockets as he walked in silence. He lead her into a grove of trees with a fountain at its center. "I've always found water something calming so I had this brought it." It was a simple fountain, with a angel weeping and her wings folded against her back. -
Same here, but it also makes people more sluggish. Ever heard of Seasonal Affective Disorder? )
EJ stared at it and leaned against one of the trees. The water, the quiet, and the smell of the air had a relaxing affect on her, and she found it easy to relax here. "Nice place you've got." She tried to make her tone even and normal when she said this, not to reflect her inner emotions. -
Mhm. Our History teacher told us about it actually :3)
He looked around the area slowly and enjoyed the peace. He knew he was getting to her slowly. "In the summer I put up a few hammocks among the trees, so you can just sit and relax." He stretched out and popped the bones in his shoulders. "And we have one last place to go.." He led her down the path. -
Ohh okay :3 Tis very common. Usually if people don't have it, they still get emotionally "under the weather" anyway. Like meh~ )
She chuckled at the idea of a hammock and continued looking around. She didn't say anything this time, just willingly followed him. -
Just when it gets gloomy outside we want to stay inside and sleep because it's our human nature to want to do that.)
He lead her to a open field where a small pond was there. Upon further inspection you could see koy fish swimming around and turtles. "Like I said, water helps a lot." He chuckled and looked at the afternoon sun and huffed softly. -
Yes, yes. Exactly.)
She leaned over and peered into the water. The bright colors of the koi reflected off the sun and the light danced across her face. For the third time that day, she smiled. She watched them play with each other for a while, then straightened up and looked around the field. She didn't almost didn't know what to say, aside from "it's beautiful." -
Alex looked down at his watch and sighed quietly. "Alright.. I have a patient waiting for me so enjoy your look around and get to where you need to be." He nodded his head at her and turned away walking back to the building while whistling a soft tune to himself.
-
She stared after him and whispered a soft "thank you," knowing full well he wouldn't have been able to hear her. She brought out her schedule and realized she had time, so she made her way back to the greenhouse. She had noticed something with the flowers and wanted to look at it.
-
Alex quickly got inside and walked into his office where Momma Frank was laying down on his couch. Sitting at his chair he relaxed and the two got started into conversation.
-
She looked at the flowers and noticed a few techniques. She watered one and looked around for the pots Alex had talked about. She found a few and looked at them, randomly wondering if she'd be able to grow marijuana here.
-
Alex took notes and went into depth with her as she talked about her kids and husband and how her kids would be visiting her this weekend and once she gets out how much of a better mother she will be.
This was an every week deal with him so he knew her story well but his mind continued to drift off to his newest work in progress, EJ. -
She propped herself up on a bench and stared outside. She had class in a few minutes, but she didn't want to leave. Sighing, she started slowly walking back towards the center.
