| This is what I believe. I'm an independent because I don't think either party provides a useful solution to our problems. Bush created a very high deficet and Obama is also adding to it. Politicans are getting completely out of hand with power. Republicans and Democrats. We don't need to throw the government away. We need to go back to the Constitution (because right now politicans are doing all they can to get around it to pass their laws). The Constitutions provides us with all the right balances and freedoms we need. The reason why things are getting out of hand is because our leaders are not following it. I think we need new people in the White House. People who will work for American citizens and not just for their personal gain. Our government is just too full of corruption to get anything productive done. |

| Actually Anastacia, I think what needs to be done about our corrupt politicians is that the public needs to demand more of them. There's a saying that goes "If the people lead, the leaders will follow", and that's what we need to see happen. It's not realistic to think that we can fill the ranks of our government with people who truly care about the state of our country. Ted Kennedy's not walking through that door. What needs to happen is the public has to start caring and push our leaders to do something, because ultimately they don't govern us, we govern them. | |

| LOL! Yeah like you said we govern them and they work for us. They need to listen to what the American people are saying and start doing what is best for us, not them. It just annoys me when politicians say things to get voted in and never end up doing them. | |

| I believe that they're all liars. We should scrap money and share everything we have with oneanother. Then there wouldn't be wars or any other crap like that. Why do people say they 'need' iPods etc.? Yes, because they have too much. There are people out there getting stoned to death for having grey eyes in some parts of the world. If we share everything, believe what we want and follow what WE WANT TO FOLLOW then the world is going to be a better place. This isn't going to happen, though. People won't get rid of all there money or probably do any of the things I've just said which is why we just need to explain our views in a decent manner and at least don't lie. | |
