| So obviously Mr. Kanye West has been the talk of the music press for the past month or so(they have nothing to talk about.) You'd have to live under a rock not to know that he bumrushed the VMA stage to protest Taylor Swift's Best Female Video victory. First off, I want to implement a bumrush rule: you may only bumrush the show to protest that you have not one an award, not someone(Beyonce) who you believe made "the best video ever"(she didn't by the way- Pearl Jam's "Jeremy" will always be king.) Here is my bigger thought- Kanye West's ego and insanity have officially overshadowed his musical genius. And honestly, I'm not seeing a whole lot of genius from him anymore. His first two records were amazing, but with his last two I feel he's become a little more commercial and homogenous- he fits in to the scene just a little too well. So honestly, my opinion of Kanye West is one of no longer caring really. |

| I'm not a fan of him or his music. Though I do know that his music back then sounded more better than his music right now. And since he did that performance with Taylor Swift, he sucks. I HATE THAT GIRL! | |

| He was a jackass. No-one has the right to criticize anyone else's music because it's THEIRS and THEIRS alone. It just shows how high people think they are and how idiotic they are to make other people feel bad about their achievments. Taylor Swift isn't my favourite singer by far but if you don't like it, keep your crap to yourself. I don't believe she should have won but it's good that she achieved something. For Kanye to try and spoil that is disguisting and it shows how much he's an idiot. | |

| I'm not a fan of Taylor Swift, but I'm okay with Kanye West, I actually agree with him, though people have done worst s--- than him they still obsess over it, so what people, seriously, anyone who cares about the awards are a bunch of egotistical shallow idiots ( I still like Welcome to Heartbreak by Kanye West, its sad and I relate to it) |
