Alabama Governor's Race v2

Throughout the years, the citizens of the U.S. have become more and more complacent to politics. Alot of people don't understand that Complaceny kills democracy, or they think that they can't make a difference.

I have created this quiz to help my friends make the right decision when it comes down to who they should vote for in the Alabama Governer's race. When it comes down to it, you shouldn't vote for someone if you don't know where they stand. If you are not a citizen of Alabama, or the election has now passed, you can STILL take this quiz and it will help you discern your own political affiliation.

3. Alabama's Education system is lagging way behind the rest of the world. How should we go about fixing this?
by providing new technology to the classrooms and ensuring that our teachers are of good quality.
bureaucrats and poor spending when it comes to education are the problems. Our schools are too busy teaching social doctrine to teach the basics. will support tax credits for Alabama families who send their children to a private school/homeschool
by providing new technology to the classrooms. Furthermore, we need programs in place to keep disruptive children from stunting the learning oppurtunities of all the other students
4. Should we raise Taxes? Lower taxes? What should we do?
We didn't need to raise taxes to meet our budgetary demands ...we needed to make our government be responsible with the massive amount of money they already get from our labors.
We don't need any new taxes. Matter of fact I'd get rid of some.
Tax cuts should only be implemented when we are at a surplus
5. Immigration is a hot topic. How should we deal with it?
Illegal Aliens should be jailed until we are able to deport them. We could do such things as train State Troopers in Customs and Immigrations
We should ensure that Alabama employers know the legal status of their employees, and punish those who knowingly hire illegal immigrants. In addition, we should be able to more accurately deny illegal immigrant access to state-funded benefit programs.
Until our government gets a hold of our borders, any aliens we ship out will just come right back.I support a guest worker program and making naturalization easier.
6. Should we or shouldn't we raise minimum wage?
Raise it. Our hard working citizens deserve it
Don't raise it. It won't help out any. It will only raise the Cost of Living.
7. Should their be more safe gaurds against government corruption?
yes.
no.
8. What should we do about Oil and Gas prices?
This is not an important issue to me.
We need to invest in alternative sources of fuel.
I'd go as far as getting our government proactive in investigating price gouging.
9. Should voters know what special interests groups are donating to the candidates and should we know how much?
Yes, this will let us know what groups control what candidates
Special Interests do not gain sway or influence over our politicians through campaign donations
