  1. Ethan begins…. “Your name is Juliet Grand. You were born on this island to two of our best leaders in history. Richard and Charlotte Grand. You were next in line to become our chief. But then The Deception started. You were 14 at the time, actually. Unfortunately,some people did not feel that the Grand Family was capable enough to carry on leading us. Of course those people were all full of rubbish. *he laughs* However two of them had much better resources. Darius and Deirdre Hadrian. Some of the worst people who ever lived. In my opinion and in many others, actually."
  2. “What did they do?” you ask. Ethan explains “They took over the whole blasted island! Started a whole revolt, they did! Even got most of the villagers on their side! But not the Haddox’s! We stuck by your family until the end. I even helped your mother steal that boat! We couldn’t let them get you or your parents and so when their army was marching toward the tall towers we lit the dynamite! Now that was a sight to see!”
  3. He continues “Regrettably, we did sink the entire East end of the island but that’s what happens when you’re at war…Finally your family, mine and a few others made it aboard. And right when we were pulling out we get shot at! Bullets pelting down everywhere! I saw it all! Your father led you into one of the cabins and erased your memories. He didn’t want you to have to be burdened by the island anymore. He wanted you to have a fresh start. *a tear slides down his cheek*
  4. You say nothing and he continues “He was my best friend. A few minutes later they shot him down. Along with everyone else. Just me, my wife, you and another man made it. My wife and I sailed the boat to the north end of the island and started a new life. Of course a couple years ago we rejoined the others, but anyway you and the other guy sailed away. And I haven’t seen you since. So what the hell happened?”
  5. You are shocked and sit down on a can of string beans. You murmur “That’s what I’d like to know.” Everything he’s said registers completely true. Your even getting flashes of it. You ask “When was that? When did that all happen?” He says “That all happened in…1254. Yeah, 1254.”
  6. “Thank you for telling me. But what are you doing here? In this camp?” Ethan smirks and says “He hasn’t told you yet?*sees your confused face* Well I guess you’ll find out later then.” “Just tell me now…” you’re cut off by rapped tapping on the door.
  7. Mark- “Juliet. Open the door. Juliet!” James- “Jules! I hope he hasn’t killed you! Because if he has you’re going to get it! Patrick- “Come on! We’re sorry! At least come out and talk” You look at Ethan but he just nods at the door and sits back onto the corn can. You open the door and step out. James speaks first “You okay, Jules?”
  8. You say “Yeah I’m fine.” Mark steps up “What did he say to you?” You pause searching for an answer but Patrick helps you out. “Why would he tell her anything. Obviously he knows nothing or atleast wants us to know nothing. I say we wait awhile and then question him.” James agrees. Mark slowly agrees but gives you a look that reads =This conversation isn’t over yet=
  9. You and the boys leave for the night and head back to the camp. You fall to the back of the line and start to think about everything you’ve learned. You don’t seem to hear the footsteps behind you until they are right next to you.
  10. “Hello Juliet.As you know, I am Joan.” Joan and you start to walk in step.You don’t turn to look at her. “What it is, Joan?” Joan smiles and says “The man in the room.Whatever he says will always be truthful whether you like it or not.Remember that Juliet.” She disappears.
  11. You aren’t surprised and head to your tent. You are very tired as you should be. A lot has happened the past two days. And you do need your rest. Sadly, your sleep won’t be completely peaceful…
