  1. I began dreaming. *I could see The Queen's cold and hard eyes everywhere. I would run trying to escape, but she lied everywhere. Every corner and crevice included. But behind me I felt a warm glow that I knew her eyes could not follow. I turned slowly to find myself entranced in Trace's sight. His eyes deep and never ending. A place I could lose myself forever. I reached out to touch his face but I screamed when he cracked and collapsed like a statue would. I feel to my knees and cried, slowly withering away under the stare of the evil witch I grew to despise.* I opened my eyes and shot into the air. I looked around and gathered that it was just a dream. I looked on to my pillow to see that I really did cry. I wiped the tears from my face and went to take a shower. I was in shock. I needed to gather myself. In the shower I thought nothing but thoughts of Trace and the moment we shared. Small but significant. I got out and dried off. For a moment I felt a twinge of guilt when I thought of Christian. He cared for me too... and he doesn't even know Trace exists. I groaned and rubbed my eyes trying to expel all the terrible thoughts to no success. I decided to just get dressed in...
  2. Wequest soon came for me in which he took me to the original hall we came in. There stood Christian and Lilian. Christian came to me with a large smile and kissed my cheek. I blushed and smiled back at him. When I looked at Lilian she looked extremely irritated. But when Christian looked to her she gave him a small smile. B!tch. Wequest began to glow again and I looked at him surprised. "Unfortunately we agreed on only one day." Christian said sounding upset. He put his hand on Wequest and I did the same. The portal was red this time when we went through it. We appeared on the top of a mountain. This world was tinted red and I could just tell this was the fire realm. In the distance there were glowing cities that looked purely powerful. I turned to Christian and had a questioning look. Before us appeared Epron and Leo. Christian took my hand and kissed it. He put his hand on Wequest who was glowing again and they disappeared. I turned to Leo and Epron. "Welcome to the fire realm." Leo said. He then morphed to his true form. Epron lied down, "Ride me love, Leo will lead us to his castle." I nodded and got on Epron. I smiled a little, I love this feeling. Yet when I looked at Leo, I was slightly frightened. Looking into his white glowing eyes was unnerving. But the feeling quickly left when he turned and began down a path, Epron followed him with long strides that brought back that wonderful sensation of adrenaline. Everything was a blur of black grey and red. It smelled like smoke, but it wasn't too strong to sting my nose or eyes, and it smelled kind of pleasant. We slowed and I could see the normal Leo waiting for us at a bridge. I looked around and could see that we were standing on the top of a volcano. In the middle of the opening stood a black castle that looked strong and menacing. The entire weight of which stood on the bridge and magic. I gasped. It was tremendous. Leo helped me from Epron and began walking me to the castle.
  3. In the middle of the entryway stood a girl with glowing yellow eyes. Her facial structure was strong and her lips a dark red. Her brunette hair flowed down her back in waves. She wore a strapless black knee length dress and black boots. "Hello ______! Welcome to the fire realm." She pulled Leo into a hug and he laughed, the first time I ever heard him do so. She looked at me again. "My name is Heather, I take care of things around here when Leo needs me to. In a way I'm like what you know as a witch." She shot me a wink. Heather than slapped Leo's butt and disappeared in a puff of smoke. (Cheesy I know :P) Leo just shook his head. "She's my closest friend, if you can't tell. I love her even though she's insane." I smiled. It was nice seeing this side of him. "I'm going to train you and give you the same potion as Christian. However, I'm teaching you survival strategies and how to handle two weapons, the sword and spear." I nodded and he lead me to a training room extremely similar to Christian's. We trained for hours until I couldn't anymore. At which point we sat down to rest. "Why are you always so quick to be angry?" It took me a while to gather the guts to ask, but I finally did. He looked at me surprised. He put his head in his hands and I could tell he was contemplating an answer. "I have lived for a lot longer than you have. We tend to disregard age unlike your realm so don't be bothered by this. I'm still technically young. But wherever I go that doesn't understand that the realms exist, I've been put in history as some evil and cruel being. I've always been rejected. Not often do I find some one who is open to me." He looked into the distance as he said this. I could kind of relate though... throughout my own life I've been looked at like a disease, never to be associated with. I put my hand on his arm with an understanding expression. He looked at me and brushed my hair from my face, "Thanks for lending an ear." "It'll always be available." I responded.
  4. He looked like he wanted to say something, but before he could Heather entered the room talking to Epron. "_______! Epron needs to talk to Leo, and I need to show you your room!" She yelled across the room. The two of us rose and approached the two of them. Heather linked arms with me and walked me to my room. She suddenly stopped and pinned me to the wall. I was about to struggle but she just hushed me. She squinted at me and looked me over. After what I judged to be a couple minutes she backed away. "I like you." She started, "Good thing too, Leo seems to care about you more than 'just friends' if you know what I mean. If I didn't like you I'd have to kick your a$$." I looked at her weird and she laughed, "He did tell you I was insane right?" I laughed with her this time. She then linked arms with me again and we continued. When we reached my room she said one last thing before she left. "Please don't hurt him, he's been hurt too much before, don't let it happen again." I stood there looking at the shut door before me. 'He cares about me... do I care about him too? And what does Heather mean by he's been hurt too much before?' I groaned and went to take a shower. I scrubbed all the dirt and sweat off my skin trying not to think of anything. It didn't work... I couldn't stop thinking about....
  5. I left the shower and found a note slipped under my door. "Dress Nicely ;)" I laughed. 'Heather!' I looked down from my window and watched as lava bubbled below. From this I decided to wear...
  6. I was entranced by the movement in the city below me when a hand appeared at my shoulder. I jumped and looked to see Leo standing there. "I knocked." He said that with a mocking tone. "Oh is that so?" I stuck my tongue out at him. He gave me, I hate to admit it but, sexy half smile. "I'm here to escort you to the dinner Heather insisted on having." I just stuck my tongue out at him again. He smiled and offered me his arm. I took it and he lead me to a stunning dinning room. All the furniture was gold and extremely comfortable. The people sitting around the table were loud and laughing. When they noticed us enter they all cheered and raised their glasses of various drinks. Leo responded by raising my hand like I won a boxing match. I giggled and was lead to a seat next to Leo who sat at the head of the table. Epron was by my side and Heather across from me. The dinner was full of meats, and sugary treats. We all were laughing and having a great time. Heather had a funny fascination with me and constantly made me the center of attention. Leo sitting there with an amused expression the entire time. When the dinner was finished Heather took me from person to person introducing different important people of the realm. What I gathered was that Heather was the royal adviser and was pretty much second in command. We all sat around and laughed and had a great time for a while, but when people started to leave I found Leo at my side again. "I'm going to take you back to your room before Heather sucks all the energy from you." He said rather loudly. Heather gasped and gave him a playful push. Leo merely smiled and offered me his arm again. I took it and said goodbye to all I was speaking to, and a special goodnight to Heather.
  7. When we reached my room I reached to open the door, but Leo stopped my hand. He turned me around and put my back against the wall. I took a surprised gasp and looked at his face. "Damn it _________, why do you have to be so beautiful." Before I could do anything I found his lips pressed into mine. I gave in and closed my eyes to him. His strong chest pressed me to the wall and his hands were on my waist. My hands were on his defined abs. His kiss was so passionate that we made out for who knows long. When He finally broke away he put his forehead on mine and just breathed. I did nothing but close my eyes and share the moment with him. "No one will ever harm a hair on your head ever again." He said this in such a believable tone I felt safer than I had my entire life. But then I felt him leave. I opened my eyes and looked around. He was gone. I slid slowly to the ground in bewilderment. 'Heather was right.' I didn't know what to think. So many things flew through my thoughts it was hard to keep up. All I knew for sure is that no matter if I felt for him that way too or not, that was amazing. I got to my feet and entered my room.
  8. I got into sweats and a sports bra. I collapsed into my bed. More tired than ever sleep soon overcame me. When it did... I began to dream...
