  1. Wrapped in your blanket, you sigh. Cold is all you feel, but honestly you are always cold. You check the time. It 5:53. You have a lot of extra time so decide to take a shower to wake yourself up.
  2. You get out, looking at your body. Pale skin, yellow-blue eyes. You flash your teeth at yourself, Sharp white teeth, fangs sharper than any blade. Yes, you may be a vampire, but it doesn't stop you from anything. You still eat and drink like other people, even though it's not absolutely necessary, and you still go to school, socialize, go home, exc.
  3. There may be a few differences. People still have parents, but your mother had died in a car crash when you were seven, You remember coming home, smelling the liquor on your fathers breath. He always locked himself away, but it was okay
  4. You remember one day coming home from school one day, ambulance surrounded around, and honestly, you hid from them. The thing was that you knew mommy and daddy were both vampires, they told you to stay away from the police and ambulance.
  5. You didn't understand it at the time, but they knew people that kept your identity a secret. In school you were enrolled with parents even though you were gone, and people they knew would pose as your parents just to keep you safe. You were safe because people, people who you dont even remember that care for you so much.
  6. You sighed, brushing your teeth, throwing on a black shirt that said panic at the disco, and slid on purple checkered jeans. This is who you were, and nothing could change it, so you might as well embrace it.
  7. You begin walking to school, hearing somebody call your name. "Alice!" You hear her call. You turn around to see your friend. "Hi Kat!" You say, as she chatches up to you. She looks at you funny, and laughs. "Your awfully awake." She teases, nudging you. "What did you see a cute guy?" I laugh. "No, I just took a shower Kat." She looks over, eyes following a group of boys. "Speaking of which" I mumble to myself. "Hey guys!" She calls, waving at them. She grabs my hand and runs over to them, "Oh hey Kat!" Your best friend, Kai, calls. "Morning, Alice." He says to you. He smiles kindly, brushing his white hair out of his face. "You smell nice" he says. I smile, "of course I do." I respond jokingly. We all laugh.
