ReeseButtercup NewbieOh, one quick question: What tense are we doing? She walked, she walks, she is walking?
-
It doesn't really matter. It's up to you
-
ReeseButtercup NewbieOK. Let me know if this isn't what you had in mind, or if it's bad or something.
Nalia's blonde hair bounced about her shoulders as she bobbed and weaved through neat rows of flowers. She was flitting lazily around the lush gardens of Madamme Lira's School for Fairy Youths. She was bored out of her mind and trying to think of something especially ambitious to do. She could play a prank on her best friend Nari, but the last time she had tried that, she had ended up as a worm, so she wasn't too keen to do it again. She could escape back to her home, but that would be just as boring. She could go somewhere though. But where?
Nalia alighted on a daisy to think. As she sat pondering, a thought sprang into her mind and she leaped into the air, soaring over the tallest sunflower. It was the most daring thing she had ever considered. Nalia's common sense told her maybe it wasn't such a good idea. But it would be so fun! Finally, she decided to do it. She was going to go to St. Fredric's Academy for Young Wizards. It didn't matter that she had no idea where it was. She'd find it with the help of Flicker, who had a great sense of direction. Without another thought, Nalia flew over the gate and was off.
About halfway down the broad road that led out of Fairy Territory, Nalia was starting to have second thoughts. A lot of them. The Wizard Academy would obviously have safeguards and defenses against fairies. How would she get past them? There would be a barrier between the wizard and fairy territories; that was a given. Maybe she should go back.
Nalia was just about to turn around and fly home when she had another idea. She was a very rare type of fairy. She was among the few who had control over the weather. When the wizards set up protections, they would never think that a weather fairy would try to breach them, right? Of course! This is an extremely stupid idea, the little voice in the back of Nalia's head nagged. Go back.
Maybe she would. But if Nalia went to the academy, she would be the first fairy ever to attempt it, and to succeed. Hopefully. So, with trepidation and excitement, Nalia continued on her way.
(This was just a random idea, I can start over with something else, or if you do like it I can keep on going. What do you think? sorry, I am really bad at this.)
