Jeff looked at Lilly, obviously in pain. "Just a little..." He lied. He began to pick up the pace as he heard shouting and sirens blaring from The Base. He needed to leave and now.
~~~~
Luke skidded to a halt in front of the door, and fondled his pockets. Pulling out a slim, multi-colored card-slip, he swiped it across the door's handle. With a loud beep and click, he jerked it open. Jumping in, he asked him-self the same question. It seemed to be a weapon's room as there were multiple weapons lined on either wall. "But I thought this was the exit..." He muttered under his breath, checking the map.
~~~~
Alexis continued to drive away, farther and farther away at 60MPH. -
Lilly sighed and continued to run. She didn't believe him but she wasn't going to call him out on it. She coughed abd ran. She was hurting herself from being jerked around all day. She wasn't ever going to let Reese touch or find her again after this.
Jake looked around awkwardly. "Hmm?" He said stareing at luke with the map. "What happened?" He sighed then gasped at the room they were in. It was a weapon room. -
Jeff ran to the end of the tunnel, which seemed to take for-ever. By now soldiers had rushed in through the entrance and were on his tail. "Can you open it?" He pleaded to Lilly, looking at the exiting cover.
~~~~
Luke checked the map, then assured him-self. "The exit's right through here... Grab every-thing you can!" Luke grabbed a large bag and then began stuffing weapons of all manner in it, quickly. (Oh, and +1 to Luke's speed.) -
Lilly pushed in open and grunted. She tried hurrying as fast as she could but that was working. "Please let Jake and Luke be okay after doing all this." She mumbled and continued.
Jake little blue eyes sparkled and he did the same. He grabbed the light things, knowing they would have to hurry all of this out. He felt different. Everything was werid not having Lilly but he enjoyed not having her there not trusting him. -
Jefferey climbed up, groaning due to the small hole in his shoulder. When he successfully exited the tunnel, he could see the distant lights of flashes. "Follow me." He said, running off to the street, rifle shakily held.
~~~~
Luke took one of the grenades and aimed it at the door. Hopefully it would damage it enough to break the handle rather than destroying it. Throwing one of them at it, he plugged his ears and waited for the results. Disappointed, he seen the handle was still perfectly functional. "Hehe..." A mischievous grin sliced through his cheeks. Taking 6 grenades off the pin of the walls, he placed them all in a coup in front of the door. Taking another grenade, he tore the trigger off, and set it on top of the pile. "GET AWAY!" He shouted at Jake. -
Lilly trotted after him. She knew he was in pain bad. She was in it and she hasn't even been shot. She wasn't going to let her guard down tho. She stopped a split second to rest but continued to follow.
Jake turned. "Wha-?!" He said before realizing to move. At the last moment,he jumped out of the way and screamed. The grenade sound burned deep down his ear and after it was over. He was coughing on the dust and grinning. -
Jefferey began to run out to the road. They were far enough from The Base where none could see them save for people with snipers or binoculars. And do to them still being on the edge of the wilderness, even then it would be very hard.
~~~~
Luke plugged his ears and jumped out of the way, yet even by plugging them up he could still hear the explosion as if his hands were in his pockets. Looking back, he saw not only was the door broken, but the entire entrance was leveled, filled by sand, gravel, dirt and some chips of metal. "YEAH!" He excitedly roared. -
Lilly panted and stopped running. "Are you fine?" She said examining him. She held her glare for a long time. She really wanted to know. She stuffed her knife back in her pocket.
Jake stood up dizzy. "Nice." He grinned happily. Since he enjoyed watching the grenades go off. He then pulled the weapon bag over his shoulder and begin to walk forward. -
(OMG OMG OMG OMG OMGGGG!!!~~! What if we combined Dead Alive with The Walking Dead?! I already have Hershel, why not the others?!)
"I'm ok." Jefferey told Lilly. By now he could tell there were multiple shamblers homing in on them. He knew where The Base's garage was, but it was inside, and they'd need clearance to drive it, in which he was a fugitive now. "We need... Ow, we need medical supplies."
~~~~
"Right?" Luke told Jake. Now they were perfectly fine to take what-ever they wished. According to the map, that was the only entrance. 'Kinda foolish' he thought to him-self. Taking the bag once again, he began to fill it with all the good stuff.
~~~~
Alexis was, by now, at-least 2 miles away from the edge of civilization, yet it just wasn't enough. Sooner or later, though, her Jeep would give out and she'd need to carry this all her-self -- which would be a pain. "What's that?" She asked her-self, eyeing what looked like a small house on a prairie. -
(:D It'd be different.)
"I agree but we need to get the hell out." Lilly watched the poor boy lie. She stopped her glare and sighed. "You need to stop the bleeding." She nodded and started looking down at her clothes about to start ripping them.
Jake laughed and continued stuffing his bag. He looked down on the floor at a paper. He raised it up and looked at it. It was a paper with a lot of Xs and codes. "What's this?" He said holding it up. -
(Why did I fan-boy? I never fan-boy... So yah or nah?)
"Yeah." Jefferey continued, still bleeding. He was very weak and wanted to rest, but he knew he needed to leave now. Grasping his shoulder, he began to limp away.
~~~~
Luke looked over at Jake, holding up a strange paper. "I have no idea." Luke replied, quite frankly. In all truth, he had no idea what the Xs or codes meant.
~~~~
Alexis drove towards the small house, and she closed in on it, it seemed to get larger and larger. It apparently was no small house, but rather like a small mansion. There was also a large barn situated next to it, and a wind-mill was in view. She began to drive even faster in hopes it wasn't infested with zombies... Or lunatics. -
(I fan girl like 76% of the time. Whatever you want.)
Lilly pulled off some cloth. "Come!" She snapped. Catching up to the boy. She crouched down and tied the cloth around his calf. She raised to look at his shoulder.
Jake shrugged and threw the paper down. He continued packing and was all full in a few minutes later. "Hm...Ready?" He said looking around. -
(Ok... So, what about you? If it's nah, I'll just keep it to where Hershel's in it, if it's yah, I'll go right ahead! :D Don't be so damn kind you don't speak your opinion, I wanna hear it.)
Jefferey stopped and glanced behind him. Lilly was catching up to him, which in his current condition, wasn't hard. She told him to stay still, and so he did. Allowing her to bandage it, he again seen the distant light of a flash-light and the occasional fire of a gun. Gritting his teeth, he wanted to shout when she applied the cloth. But soon enough, it was over. Surprisingly, he felt much better. "Thanks...!"
~~~~
Luke looked back down at the paper. "Eh, why not." He whispered to him-self as he bent over to retrieve the paper. Stuffing it in his heavy leather bag, he was off on his way. Looking down at Jake, he smiled. "Thanks." -
(D: I don't like speaking my opinion. It's up to you. I truly don't care. But if you want to then sure."
Lilly finished. "Welcome. Now are you coming with me? Or heading back to get your ass kicked?" She asked while checking her surroundings. She didn't see any zombies but she wasn't going to bet they wouldn't be there very seen. She rocked on her shoes.
Jake nodded, snickering back. "Let's get out." He said walking through the jacked up entrance. He grinned at himself thinking about how it got there. He pulled the rifle out and examined it.
(I swear if I had to go through all this crap I would just kill myself. XD) -
(SPEAK YOUR OPINION, BISH, OR I'LL EAT UR FACE!)
Jefferey anxiously looked back at Lilly. "I'll come with you." He said. "We better leave soon." Jeff gestured towards the moving lights on the ground.
~~~~
Luke went after Jake, and began climbing the ladder also, heading out.)
~~~~
Alexis drove up the plains, as there was no road leading to the house or barn, and slowed to a near-halt as she examined the place. Large and bountiful, along with a farm and... Living live-stock. Unless those pigs and cows and ducks and stuff were extremely disciplined to the point where they herded their own selves, there were people here. But the place was at-least worth checking out.
(LOL)
