tongue AdvancedRepublicans are too busy trying to get more tax breaks and deregulation for their big business friends. Obama and the Democrats are too busy trying to push a federal jobs program, which is actually a good idea, but it's short-sighted. And of course the whole situation is made worse because whenever Democrats and Republicans get in a room together, they basically just throw feces at each other. And neither side seems to realize that the only way we can fix the economy is through small business. Maybe the Republicans see it a little more, to their credit, but I don't think they have the slightest idea how to invest in small business, especially since their goal at the moment is to curb the reach of government. My Dad had an idea of investing in small business, with the government basically giving easy loans to people who want to start a business. Nobody on Capitol Hill would go for it because it means the government would be loaning money to alot of businesses that would ultimately fail, but it's the best idea I've heard so far. So really what's happening is you have two sides with the wrong ideas and no interest in working together. And now because of that, we have an economy where 9% unemployment is the new normal, and 30 million people live with food stamps as their only source of income. What a great f---ing country we live in.
