Anarchy does NOT imply nihilism, violence, or the total absence of rules, but rather the belief in an anti-statist society, based on the spontaneous order of free individuals in autonomous communities..

I think that's a litte naive thinking that that wouldn't imply absence of rules. Look at the French Revolution.

Actually the real problem is that anarchy is a paradox by that definition and that it would eventually give rise to an organized government. And Britt, the French Revolution is not an example of anarchy but rather terror by an authoritarian regime.

Ok, but chew on this: the worst bloodshed of the revolution took place during the Reign of Terror, meaning that there was more death in the revolution when an authoritarian regime was in control than when the country was basically in a state of anarchy.

Yea, Robbespierre and the Commitee of Public Safety. That's an authoritarian regime.

Yea that's the point. There was more death with a government than without one.

Obviously it was the worst time of the Revolution when numerous people were executed becasue they were thought to be opposed the Revolution's course.
