kendra_14 NewbiePlz help me i just cut myself pretty deep but it did not help my depression like it normally does. I do not want to cut deeper but nothing is helping.

No pain is your body telling you to stop. It's a reaction my tecaher told us that.

Don't hurt yourself, it doesn't help , it gives small bursts of relief but all you are doing is trapping yourself , after the happiness from hurting is gone you feel worse for doing it and tehn your stuck in the cycle of pain and hate. See a therapist now. If that doesn't help think of better strategies such as drawing on places you'd like to cut.

OK but I read/heard of a video that told you about feelings and such and it said 'pain is a state of mind' both might be right though

No. Pain is real. It's not a state of mind it's a function of the brain, a girl was born without that part of the brain and I think she but off her own tounge. Yeah.

kendra_14 NewbieI've tried all there is to try but nothing can take away the pain except self harm and that is not working right now. I don't wanna end it but seems like that could be the only option now.

I don't care if it's taking away the pain , your mind only thinks that. You need to do something rather than inflict pain on yourself. It's stupid, it harms you and others around you. Please listen to me and do whatever you can to stop.
