Topic: The U.S. should significantly increase ocean exploration.
Argument one: Ocean Exploration creates a deeper understanding of scientific knowledge.
Argument two: It will greatly benefit the US as in beneficial discoveries. -
Second paragraph starting with "The basic reason" says some good stuff. -
and issues is good -
OCEANS ABSORB CARBON DIOXIDE, THAT POLLUTION IN THE AIR. OH SHAIT. So, yeah. :P I mean you could use that in a sense where you could say "If scientists keep researching things like these, we wouldn't have as many problems or the problems would be reduced."
Something like that. -
"For example, scientists have already demonstrated that the oceans serve as a carbon sink. The oceans have absorbed almost one-third of anthropogenic CO2 emitted since the advent of the industrial revolution and have the potential to continue absorbing a large share of the CO2 released into the atmosphere."
In the climate section starting with "By contrast." This might make a good argument. -
