  1. What is your age?
  2. What is your gender?
  1. You opened your mouth to scream when you were tackled to the ground. You started fight the person that was on top of you when you heard them speak. “Stop fighting! I’m trying to save you!” Right after he said that your fist connected with his jaw. He reeled back which gave you the time to register his words. “Wait did you say you’re trying to save me?” you asked standing up. “Yes,” he said rubbing his jaw. “Wow you’re strong,” he said. “Thank you,” you replied. “But right now we have bigger problems.” You pointed behind him and he whirled around. While you were fighting him the van had stopped and three really strong guys got out. You put your fists up and gathered your energy. You stopped looking at the guy. He glanced back at you and said “Relax I know about the Elements.” That reassured you and you gathered your power again, focusing on the threat in front of you. As one the men ran at you. You shoved your hands out releasing your power into a wall of fire. The men staggered and paused for a second then came at you guy again. The guy ran at them taking on two of the men at one time. The third one still came at you though. You also ran at him and met him with a swift kick to the stomach. That barely fazed him. He grabbed at you and you ducked and leapt out of the way. You landed behind him and you saw a great big oak tree. You got an idea. You washed the big man off of his feet. That caught him off guard and you jumped on his surprise. You brought a big limb off the tree and slammed it onto his head. That knocked him out. Satisfied you turned to help the guy that was saving you. You cut off the one that was kind of dazed with a wall of Earth that you had shoot out of the ground. He focused on you and came at you. You were ready for him. You blew him backward and into the wall. That knocked the wind out of him and he leaned against the wall trying to get his breath back. You saw and took the advantage you went and kicked him where it hurts. He went cross eyed and fell on the ground. You knew he wouldn’t be getting back up for a while, so you made the wall disappear ready to fight. What you found was the guy standing over the man he was fighting panting.
  2. You both saw headlights coming toward you and you knew it was the guys. The guy that saved you turned and started to run off. “Wait!” you shouted running after him. He stopped, but looked nervous. “I just wanted to thank you for saving me,” you said. “You’re welcome,” he replied with very little emotion. He turned to go again but you said “Wait!” He turned back around. “Look if your friends find me with you they won’t be happy,” he snarled. “Now I have to go.” He turned once again but you caught his arm. “What?” he asked. “I don’t know your name,” you said looking into his deep blue eyes. They were the only thing you could see of him. He smiled and stepped closer to you. He leaned down and whispered in your ear “My name is Daniel and we’ll meet again. I’m sure of it.” He then turned and ran off into the dark, leaving you entranced.
  3. You stood there watching the place where he disappeared. Just then the guys pulled up. They leaped out of the car and stood in shock, looking at the men on the ground. They saw you standing there and they all shouted “_________! Are you alright?” You ran up to them and said “Yeah I’m fine. I wouldn’t have been if Daniel hadn’t showed up. These guys were trying to kidnap me.” “Oh ________, we’re so sorry. We should have been closer to you so we could help you,” Regan apologized. “You were attacked not 5 hours after we’re assigned to be your protectors and we weren’t even there,” Sean moaned. “Job number one: Failed,” Tim sighed. “Oh no, it’s not your fault,” you assured them. “I was the one who pushed you away. I was the one that wanted to be alone. It just didn’t really accrue to me how much danger I was in.” That made them perk up. “Well we should get you home,” Randy said. “Okay. My house is just around the corner. I can run there,” you said. You started to jog off that way. “Wait! Shouldn’t you ride with us?” Tim asked. “Yeah you were already attacked once. We don’t want that to happen again,” Randy said. You shook your head. “Just because I was attacked doesn’t change how my parents will react to all of this,” you explained. “I’ll go slow enough so you can keep up.” You jogged off again and that closed the discussion. You heard the car behind you and you lead them to your house.
  4. “Mom! Dad! I’m home!” you shouted as you entered the house. The guys entered behind you. You opened the closet that was right next to the door and took out five towels. You tossed one to each of the guys telling them to dry off as best they could. You heard barking and the clipping of claws. You turned and knelt down opening your arms. Two dogs barreled into you and knocked you over. You laughed and shouted “Duke! Scout! Yeah hi to you too.” You pushed them off of you and stood up. “Your home a little late tonight honey,” your mom called from the kitchen. “But you’re just in time to have dinner.” “Yeah and just in time to not help set the table,” your brother Jake said entering the entry way. He stopped short when he saw the guys. He got a confused look on his face and turned to you. “Uh,” he said pointing at the guys. You rolled your eyes at him and said “Real intelligent Jake.” He took your arm and pulled you a little ways away. “What are they doing here?” he whispered to you. “Long story,” you whispered back. Louder you said “Where’s Sarah?” He ignored you and said “Mom and Dad won’t like it.” “I know,” you sighed. You glanced at the guys and they were looking award standing there. You went over and took their towels form them. “Just let me take care of it,” you told him walking to the laundry room. He punched you in the arm and you punched him back. You glared at each other and then he turned and went into the kitchen. You placed the towels in the basket inside the door went back to the guys.
  5. “Follow me,” you said and started toward the kitchen. You paused the door motioning the guys to wait. You walked into the kitchen. “Mmm, smells good mom,” you said. “Thanks,” she said. “I made hamburgers tonight.” “Is that cold?” your dad asked you pressing a can of Coca Cola to your neck. “Daddy!” you cried ducking away. He laughed. You saw your sister Sarah and Jake arguing over something. You took a deep breath and said “Um, Mom, Dad. I have to talk to you about something.” “What is it sweetheart?” your mom asked. You leaned nervously on the counter. “The king of darkness is back. He wants me and my powers. I also got a visit from F.F., M.E., S.W., and B.W.” You saw that your dad was going to say something so you carried on stopping him from saying anything. “And they have assigned me some protectors. You know to keep me safe from him.” Your mom turned around to face you. “And who are these protectors?” your dad asked. You went back to the door and motioned the guys to enter. They did and you saw your dad get mad. He started to walk towards them. They backed up, scared. You stepped in front of your dad stopping him. “Okay, okay,” you said trying to calm him down. “I did not want this to happen and I didn’t want protectors. I even fought with them, so I didn’t have to have them. But Nia spoke to me and told me I have to have these protectors. She told me that it’s for my own good.” You stopped. “She also told me I have to move in with them,” you said quickly, bracing yourself knowing what was coming. “MOVE IN WITH THEM!” he roared.
  6. You looked frantically at your mom for help. She went up to him and took his arm. She pulled him away a little bit and then said sternly. “Tom, there is no need to yell. Now calm down. I’m not happy about this either, but focus on what’s important.” He just looked at her, fuming. “Our daughter’s safety. That is what is most important. If she has to have protectors, then she has to have protectors. If she has to move in with them, then she has to move in with them.” With every word she said he calmed down. ‘This is going better than I thought,’ you thought. “Your right,” your dad finally sighed. He then went over to you. “I’m sorry about shouting at you,” he apologized. “It’s alright Dad. You just want to protect me. I’m not a fan of moving in with them either.” You told him. He wrapped you into his arms. When he let you go he asked icily “So who are these guys who are your protectors?” “Mom, Dad, Jake, Sarah meet Regan, Sean, Tim and Randy.” They guys nodded and gave a little nervous smile. You felt your dad tense up and quickly assured him. “Don’t worry Dad. They’re honorary. F.F. approved them and you know he cares for me as much as you do.” “Not as much as I do. No one can love you as much as I do,” you dad said hugging you again. “Oh you all are soaked to the bone,” your mom said trying to get off the subject. “_______, go get changed into some dry clothes. Sarah get some more towels. Jake turn the heat up or they’ll freeze to death,” she ordered. She then went up to the guys and motioned them farther into the kitchen. The three of you scattered to what you were told.
  7. *Ten Minutes Later* You and the guys are sitting around the table with your family. You guys talk about random things. Your family gets to know the guys better. (I won’t bore you with details.) About half an hour later you are packing your bag to go with the guys to their house. You pack all of your clothes and some personal items like some books and laptop. You make sure you have your karate uniform in your karate bag. You want to take your Bo staff but it’s too big. The very last thing you pack is a picture of your mom and dad. You feel tears come to your eyes as you look at it. You feel one slide down your cheek and you blink back the others. You hear a knock on your door and look up. It’s your dad. “You got everything?” he asked gently. You nod not trusting your voice. You place the picture in your bag and sip it up. Your dad comes in and sits on your bed next to you. Your throat closed up and you turned into him and wrapped your arms around him, letting out a little sob. He held you close to him and let you cry. You looked up at him through your tears and said “Daddy I don’t want to go.” “I know sweetheart,” he cooed pulling you into him. “I don’t want you to either. But you have too. You have to obey your mentor.” He stroked your hair. You sobbed into his shoulder. “Hey,” he said softly. He pulled you away and took your chin in his hand and turned your face up to him. You could see tears in his eyes too. “You have to be strong, okay. Show them the fierce _______ I know.” You laughed and said “They’ve already seen her. I attacked them to stop them from taking me away.” “Good. Make sure they treat you well and don’t take anything from them. And you come home whenever you want. Okay?” You nodded and sniffed. He wiped your tears away and kissed your forehead. Then you both stood up and each took a bag. “I love you,” you told him. “I love you too,” he replied. You followed him out of your room. At the door you stopped and looked over your shoulder at your room. You didn’t know when you would be coming back so you tried to take in everything. When you had enough you smiled and shut the door.
  8. You went down stairs and saw your family and the guys waiting in the entry way. Regan took your bag and followed your dad and the other guys out to the car. You went over to your mom and embraced her. “I thought that this day wouldn’t happen for a while,” she said. “And now I’ll have to go through it twice. It was bad enough that I would have to go through it three times but four. I didn’t expect that,” she said. That made you smile. “Don’t worry Mom, I’ll come home. Hopefully before school starts.” “You come home whenever you want, honey.” “Okay. Thanks Mom.” You kissed her on her cheek and then pulled out of her embrace. You turned to Sarah and hugged her. “You went straight from no dating to moving in,” she whispered. “And with four guys.” You grinned and stepped back. You moved onto Jake. You two looked at each other and just as he was about to say something you flung your arms around him, which surprised him. He only hesitated for a moment before he hugged you back. “Please be careful,” he whispered. “I will,” you promised. “Take care of Mom and Dad for me.” “I will,” he said. As you stepped back your dad came back in. “Well this is not the final goodbye,” you told your family. “I mean I’m still going to Karate class and I still have my job, so my life won’t be that different.” “But instead you won’t be at home,” Sarah said. “You’ll be living with four guys that look barely old enough to live on their own,” Jake said looking at the guys. Your family then hugged you at once and you let one tear slip out. When they let you go they walked you out to the car where the guys were. From the look on the guys faces you could tell that your dad and told them something. They got in and your dad opened the passenger door for you. When it was closed you rolled down the window. As you leaned out, Regan started to pull away from the curb. You waved and shouted “I love you!” “We love you too!” your parents shouted back. They were all waving. You kept waving until you couldn’t see them anymore. You blinked back tears and leaned back into the car. You rolled up the window and Regan put a hand on your leg and looked at you. You covered his hand with yours and gave him a smile. You then turned around to look at the other guys in the back. They smiled at you and you smiled back. You turned and looked out the window until you fell asleep.
  9. You woke up to someone gently shaking you. “Maybe you should carry her,” someone said. You felt yourself being picked up. You snuggled up closer to whoever was carrying you. After a few minutes of being carried you decided to see who was carrying you. You opened your eyes and saw that Sean was carrying you. “Hello, sleepyhead,” he said. “Hi,” you mumbled still half asleep. You yawned and looked around. “Where are we?” you asked sleepily. We are almost home,” he said. “Oh.” You paused then said “Can you put me down please.” “Sure.” He placed you on your feet and took your hand leading you. You looked around. You were on a trail in a forest. The sun was setting which made the trail even prettier. You went around a turn and stopped in your tracks, your hand slipping out of Sean’s. In front of you was a huge house. It was two stories and white. It had a Victorian look but was also modern at the same time. “It’s beautiful,” you breathed. Sean laughed and took your hand again. “If you like the outside just wait till you see the inside. He led you up the steps and in the door. It was even better than the outside. The entry way was tiled but you could see carpet through an opened door. You thought that it had to be the living room. The guys disappeared to turn the lights on and what not. They returned quickly though. “Let me show you where your room is ______,” Randy offered. “Okay,” you said. He picked up one bag and you picked up the other and followed him up a grand stair case. You guys passed a lot of doors and you knew that this was a place that would have to be explored. You guys finally stopped in front of an oak door. Randy opened it and beckoned you to go in first. You went in and gasped. The room was beautiful. It had a hardwood floor and a queen sized bed that was right in front of the door. The bed was cherry wood and had a red comforter and red pillows. The furniture was all was also cherry. The light was perfect for the room. There was a balcony that overlooked a lake. The curtains were an orangeish-yellowish color. You realized that the balcony faced east. Not all the way East but enough that would let the sun shine. You went outside onto the balcony and felt a breeze that came off the lake. You took a deep breath smelling the familiar sent of a lake and fresh air. When you went back inside and saw a maple door on either side of the room. You opened one and saw that it opened up onto your own personal bathroom. You knew that the other one would have a closet. Randy was standing by your bed watching you explore. “Do you like it?” he asked. You went over to him. “I love it.” “Good. Well I’ll let you unpack. Me and the others will be down stairs if you need anything.” “Okay, thanks.” He hesitated for a second then kissed you on the cheek then hurried out of the room, closing the door behind him.
  10. You pulled your suitcase onto the bed and started to unpack. But first you set up your laptop and started your play list. “That’s better,” you said. You started to sing along to Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts and many other country singers. (If you don’t like country music put in your own music.) You put all of your clothes in the closet (which is a walk in) and books on the bookshelf. You then turned and looked at your picture of your parents and stopped singing. You stopped your music and picked it up. You sat down on the bed and tears came to your eyes again. You put it back on the nightstand and looked at your hands. You then gave into your tears and started sobbing. You picked up one the pillows and buried your face in it so the guys wouldn’t hear you. You were sobbing for about five minutes when you heard a knock on the door. You stopped your tears and put the pillow back. You forced yourself to get up and look like you were doing something. “It’s open! you shout. Regan came in. “Hey,” he said. You didn’t face him knowing that it looked like you were crying. “Hey,” you said back tensely praying your voice didn’t break. “I came up here to see if you wanted any help unpacking.” You started to rearrange your books on the bookshelf. You shook your head still not facing him. “No I’m good. Thanks for asking though.” Your voice broke on the last word and you let out a tiny sob. You hoped Regan didn’t hear it. He did. “Hey, are you okay?” he asked worried. You nodded not trusting your voice. You heard him walk across the room to you. He put a hand on your shoulder. “What’s wrong?” he asked. You bit your bottom lip to keep from crying. “You can tell me. I won’t tell anyone,” he said gently. That made you break down. You lowered you head and felt the tears spill over quietly. “Hey, ____. What’s wrong?” he asked getting scared. You let out a sob and then turned around and wrapped your arms around him needing the comfort of someone. He wrapped his arms around you protectively and said “Hey, what’s with all the water works?” trying to cheer you up. When you didn’t answer you picked you up and carried you to the bed sitting down and putting you in his lap. “Shh, shh. What’s wrong?” He stroked your hair and tried to calm you down. “Oh Regan,” you sobbed. “I’m fifteen. I shouldn’t have to leave home. I shouldn’t have to move in with four guys who are three years older than me. I shouldn’t have to be scared for my life. I shouldn’t have to have protectors. I should be at home worrying about what I’m going to do before school starts. I should be doing chores and going to work and normal teenage stuff.” “Hey nobody wanted this to happen. Especially to you. But the thing is you’re not a normal teenager. You’re special. You know when I was your age I had a similar situation happen to me.” “Really?” you asked looking at him. He nodded. “What happened?” “Well my parents were killed in a car crass and I was left alone. I was sent to an orphanage. I was a very mad teenager. I didn’t like anybody and I didn’t get along with anybody. One day I had had enough. So I ran away. I was living on my own for about 3 weeks when F.F. found me. He took me to the palace and gave me my powers. I lived there until I met Randy and Sean. Then I moved here.” You had started to calm down. “How did you meet Tim then?” you asked. He wiped the tears off your face as he answered. “Well Randy, Sean and I were at a pizza place, when we heard a fight coming from outside. We looked out the window and saw these two guys about our age. They were the ones fighting. We ran outside to stop the fight. We pulled the two guys off each other. The other guy backed off to his friends and we noticed that Tim had no one around, so if we found out he had nowhere to go we would let him live with us. When we tried to talk to him, he started off in another direction. So Sean and I each took an arm and took him around the corner away from anyone. He tried to fight us but we were fed and stronger. We held him against the wall and asked if he had a home. He knew we weren’t going to let him go so he decided to answer our questions. He said he didn’t have a home and we asked him if he wanted to come and live with us. He said yes and now he’s part of the family.” “When did B.W. give him his powers?” you asked. You had stopped crying. “He got his powers a few days after he came to live with us.” You both fell silent. “Are you okay now?” he asked. You nodded and said “Yeah I am. Thanks Regan.” “You’re welcome. Hey do you want to come and watch a movie with me and the other guys?” “Sure. Can I put in a request for the movie?” “Of course.” “Do you have ‘The Holy Grail’?” “Yeah I think so.” “Great that’s my vote.” You got up off his lap and said “Let me go wash my face and I’ll be right down. Oh and Regan.” “Yeah?” “Can you not tell the other guys about me crying?” He smiled and went over and kissed you on the cheek “My lips are sealed.” (If you haven’t seen the “Holy Grail”, look it up. It’s hilarious.)
  11. You went and washed you’re face. When you got downstairs the guys had the “Holy Grail” ready to play. They had popcorn to. You grinned and sat down on the couch between Tim and Sean. Randy and Regan sat in chairs near the couch. “So have you guys seen this movie?” you asked. “Nope,” Tim said. “Oh you’ll love it.” So you watched the movie and at the end you said good night to the guys and went to bed. *The next morning* You got up at 5 am as usual. You got dressed in sport clothes and picked up your Karate bag and went out into the backyard. You then practiced for an hour than went back up stairs and took a shower. You changed clothes and did your normal morning routine. (Mine is probably much different than yours and so is your style so you just enter your own) You then went into the kitchen looking for something to make for breakfast. You spot cinnamon rolls and decided to make them. When they were in the oven you sat down in the living room to read your book. You only got up to get the cinnamon rolls out of the oven and eat some. Around 7:30 you heard showers going. Around 8:00 you heard doors opening and closing so you knew the guys were going to come down. Suddenly you heard Tim shriek. “SHE’S GONE!” “WHAT?!” you heard the other guys scream. “She’s gone!” Tim shouted. “How can she be gone?!” Randy asked. “I don’t know!” Sean yelled. You laughed and went and stood at the bottom of the stairs. “Hey guys! I’m down here!” you yelled up. You heard the sound of running footsteps and soon four faces appeared looking over the railing. You waved. “_________!” They all shouted at the same time. They ran down stairs and hugged you. “Well good morning to you too,” you laughed. When they let you go they all had relived faces. “Don’t do that to us!” Tim cried. “I thought those goons you ran into yesterday got you,” Randy said. “I was for sure you were kidnaped,” Regan gasped. “I terrified that you were a goner. I thought ‘what are we going to tell the gods?’” Sean said. You laughed again. “You know I didn’t know that guys could shriek like that Tim.” Tim blushed. “Anyway, I’ve been up for hours,” you told them. “What time did you get up?” Sean asked. “5:00,” you answered. Their eyes seemed to pop out of their heads. “5:00?” Tim asked. “What were you doing up at 5:00?” Randy asked. “Oh it’s a force of habit. I practice my karate in the morning. Then I go to work. I have to be at work by 7:00.” You then gasped and pushed past the guys and ran up the stairs, saying “No, no, no!” “What?” Regan asked. You had reached the top of the stairs and you leaned over the railing. “I’m late for work!” you shouted. You then ran to your room and quickly changed into your uniform. You grabbed your hiking boots and your duffle bag with your bow. You ran down stairs and sat at the bottom and put on your boots. The guys came out of the kitchen each of them eating a cinnamon roll. “Did you make these, _____?” Tim asked. “They’re really good.” Randy complimented. “Yeah I did. I saw them and they’re my favorite so I made them. Regan can you drive me to work?” He swallowed the last of his cinnamon roll. “Sure,” he said. He grabbed the keys and started to walk toward the door. You finished tying your shoe and you leaped up. “Bye guys! See you tonight!” you shouted over your shoulder running for the door. You passed Regan and grabbed his arm pulling him along. “Come on hurry. I’ve never been late for work before.” You said. “Alright, I’m coming, I’m coming.” He shut the door behind him and you two raced for the car. You put your duffle in the back then jumped in the passenger seat. Regan then quickly drove you two work. (He obeyed the traffic rules and speed limit, don’t get excited.
  12. When you got to work it was 8:20. Regan pulled up in front of the lobby. You jumped out and grabbed your duffle bag from the back. Regan rolled down his window. “Thanks Regan.” You said. “No problem _________. I’ll be here after you get off work. Hey when do you get off work?” You rolled your eyes and said “6:00.” “Great! See you tonight.” “Bye!” you shouted running off. You burst into the lobby where your boss Mr. Cross was waiting. You skidded to a halt. “Good morning ______.” He said casually. “Good morning Mr. Cross,” you said nervously. “Your late,” he said simply. “I know and I’m so sorry. My morning has been pretty hectic. I’m really sorry for being late and I promise it will never happen again,” you said in a rush. He looked at you and you held your breath. “I’ll let you off with a warning ______, because you are one of my best and hardest workers. But I will note this in your employ record,” he finally said. “Thank you Mr. Cross,” you sighed in relief. “I would expect nothing less of you to put this on my employ record. And I promise I’ll never be late again.” He smiled. “Don’t let this happen again okay?” You nodded. “Now go. You have 40 minutes to get ready for the day. You hurried off to do your duties. The rest of the day was a normal day. At 6:00 you picked up your stuff and met Regan in the parking lot. “Hey,” he greeted and hugged you. “Hey,” you greeted back. You put your duffle in the back and climbed into the car. “How was your day?” he asked as he drove away. You shrugged. “Normal day. Nothing really happened.” “Nobody attacked you?” “Nope no attacks, no creepy people watching, no nothing.” For the rest of the ride home you talked about random stuff. When you got home you went upstairs and changed into something more comfortable. When you went back downstairs you smelled something really good. You followed your nose to the dining room. Sitting at the table was the guys and on the table was (favorite diner here). “Awesome,” you said. “I love (Favorite diner here).” You sat down and you guys had an amazing dinner, which Tim had made. In the middle of dinner the guys glanced at each other then looked at you. You swallowed your bite and looked back at them. “Okay, glancing at one another then not talking is bad. What do you guys want?” you asked. “We want you to train us,” Regan said. You just looked at them. “YOU want ME to train you?” you finally asked. They nodded. You stared at them. “Why?” “Because you are Nia’s prodigy,” Randy said. “You know how to do things no one can do,” Sean said. “With your help we can become stronger, which will be good so we can protect you better,” Tim stated. “Are you sure? My system can be pretty vigorous.” “We don’t care. We’ll do what we have to,” Regan said. You sat back and crossed your arms. You studied them. After a while you said “Alright, I’ll train you.” They started to thank you, but you spoke over them. “On one condition.” They agreed. “You guys have to do what I say, when I say it and no arguing.” They nodded. “Great training starts tomorrow. Be up at 8:00 to start.” What!” they complained. You held your hands up. “Hey I warned you. And you agreed to do whatever I say. Unless you don’t want me to train you. And I could have had you up much earlier.” They grumbled but agreed. After dinner Randy went up to his room, and Tim and Regan went to the game room to play video games. “Would you like a tour?” Sean asked you. “Sure,” you replied. He took your hand and showed you around. He showed you the library, the game room, the lab and the pool. He then took you to the garden. “This is my favorite place in the whole house,” he told you. “It’s so pretty,” you said. “It’s even better in the moonlight. But it’s nowhere as beautiful as you are.” He turned to you. You were happy it was dark so he couldn’t see you blush. “I’m not beautiful,” you told him. “Yes you are. You are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen.” “You really think that?” “I know that,” he said moving closer to you. You looked into his eyes and saw that he really believed that. “I love that you don’t wear make-up like most girls. I love that you don’t wear nail polish. I love that you’re all natural. You don’t need beauty products do look good.” He leaned in and kissed you. You wrapped your arms around his neck and he wrapped his around your waist. When you pulled back you smiled and he smiled back.
  13. You and Sean then went back inside. He joined Regan and Tim and you went up to your room. You went out onto the balcony. You placed your hands on the railing and leaned on them. There was a slight breeze and you could smell the lake. You looked up at the moon and thought it looked like it was smiling down on you. You smiled up at the moon and started singing softly. It was an old lullaby that your grandmother taught you. There were no English words in it but you had memorized. You sang it again and swayed this time. Someone came and stood by you but you didn’t notice because you had your eyes closed. When you finished the song he said “That’s a really pretty song _______.” You jumped and nearly went over the edge. He grabbed you and said “Whoa, sorry. Didn’t mean to frighten you.” You looked and saw that it was Randy. “What were you singing?” he asked. You smiled at him and turned back to the view. “It’s an old lullaby my grandma taught me. It was taught to her by her grandma, taught to her by her grandma.” “Will you sing it again?” You grinned and started singing. He swayed with you and when it was over this time he said “_______, I know you’re sad about leaving home, I would be too, but I want you to know that I’ll always keep you safe.” “Thanks.” You guys just looked out across the lake. “Randy can I ask you something?” you asked. He smiled at you and said “Ask away.” “How old were you when you left home?” He turned away. You realized you hit a bad nerve. “I’m sorry; you don’t have to tell me.” “No, no it’s okay,” he told you. “I never really knew my parents. They died when I was 5. I ran away and lived on my own for years. When I was fifteen, M.E. ran into me. She gave me a home and my powers. It was hard to adjust after living on the street for ten years. I did adjust though. I met Sean a few days after I got there, but back then it was hard for me to trust people so we basically avoided each other. When I got used to him we became very close. He’s like the brother I never had. When we moved in with each other we got even closer. A few months after we moved in we met Regan and then he moved in.” He yawned and you yawned. “We better get to bed,” you told him. He nodded and you led him into your room. He said good night and kissed you on the cheek and left. You changed into your pajamas and crawled into bed. You were asleep before your head hit the pillow. Your dream was more like a night mare. You were in a stone room that looked like a castle, because of the tapestries on the wall. “Well, well, well. Long time, no see ______.” You heard an icy voice say. You whirled around. You saw the king of darkness looking back at you. He was leaning against the wall. He had jet black hair and grey eyes. He was dressed in black skinny jeans and a black t-shirt. You knew that he never aged and just stayed an 18 years old. He was really centuries old. “I thought I defeated years ago,” you sneered. “Did you come back to relearn that lesson?” He smiled wickedly at you. “Now, now is that any way to greet an old friend?” “You are not my friend,” you spat. He stuck his bottom lip out like a 5 year old. “Now that’s too bad, because I treat my friends much better than my enemies. He flicked his hand and you were thrown against the wall. He evaporated and landed in front of you. He took your wrists and pinned them against the wall. “Well you’ve grown up haven’t you,” he cooed. “Your quite pretty.” You spit in his face. He wiped it off and then said. “I’ll make you a deal. I’ll leave your friends and your family alone if, you become my queen.” You started at him in horror. Then you sneered at him. “I’ll never be your queen.” “Okay your choice,” he said. Suddenly your wrists started to burn. You screamed and screamed. You see what happened was that all that happened in your dream happened to you in real life. So you were screaming in real life.
  14. That’s where I’ll leave you guys. I’ll make part 4 really quickly. See you soon! Bye!
