Are you a Freak or a Geek?

Once upon a time, there was a wonderful television show on NBC called "Freaks and Geeks." Unfortunately, like all great TV shows before it, it was cancelled prematurely after one season. It was a show that took place in one of the most horrible places that we all must eventually face: high school.

Do you like Dungeons and Dragons? Or would you much rather ditch class and hang out with your friends? There were two categories you could fit into ... and by taking this quiz, you can find out if you are a "freak" or a "geek."

5. You're sitting in class, and the next thing you know, the teacher brings out the film projector and begins to play a film on beginning your career. The next thing you know ...
... you're sitting there, taking in every moment of the film. High school can go by so fast, so why not get a start on your future plans?
You sit there, bored out of your mind. But what else can you do?
Bah ... a film on a "career?" What's that? I'm totally skipping out. The whole world sucks anyway.
6. Someone is staring at you. You're reaction?
Smile at them.
Look behind you. They can't be staring at me, right?
Walk over to the person staring at you. They obviously have a problem, and you can fix it by confrontation. Better yet, might as well humiliate them in the process.
7. The homecoming dance is coming up, and your dad is forcing you to go. What choice do you have?
Don't go at all! I'm so over the homecoming dance. It's really just a chance for the popular kids to have sex in their cars.
Why would I go? There's a Monty Python marathon that night!
Pretend to go, then ditch. Dad won't know.
Ask the prettiest girl in school to go with you. Maybe she won't have a date, even though she's a cheerleader and super popular.
8. Bill Murray. Does he suck?
No he doesn't. He's cool.
Bill Murray sucks!
Who cares?
9. Dodgeball is ...
awesome! An excuse to throw a ball and hit people and not get in trouble!
horrible. It's kind of a stupid game, isn't it?
10. What kind of music do you like?
Pink Floyd, man! And nothing beats Zepplin.
Oh my god ... disco is where it's at!
11. Your parents are leaving you alone for the whole weekend with no supervision and your sister just told you she's having a keg party. What do you think?
Those new friends she's hanging out with are a bad influence. I have to tell dad!
Cool! Keg parties rule!
I don't like the idea, but maybe if I try to sabotage the party, nothing bad will happen.
12. There's a jacket that you think is way cool, but you don't have enough money for it. The next step is to...
... do what you always do: switch the tag with something way cheaper than it really is. That way you get what you want without actually spending all your allowance.
Save up. The only way to get what you want is to work for it.
Forget about it. It's just a jacket.
13. And lastly ... how would you describe yourself?
Quiet, kind of shy. I can't talk to anybody like I talk to my friends because they're more of my crowd. Plus, I'm scared of everybody.
Awkard. Smart, but not really sure where you fit in.
Passionate about things I like. The world is my drum kit!
Way too into Dallas. But Dallas rules!
