All About Helen

I will be doing a guest blog at Hour 25 about a minor character in Greek mythology; Aethra. She is Theseus' mom and Helen's handmaiden. This woman saw it all!

She defied Apollo's commands and bedded Poseidon in one night. She raised Theseus, Helen and her own great-grandson. She was there when Helen met Paris and when the sword famously fell from Menelaus' hand.
