Oh! I just googled explainations for the cup and number ones.

The cups:Sixty cups. Say it with a pause between each syllable. Six ty cups.Six tea cups. 6-1=5.

The number one: The answers were the number of letters in the number. There are 7 letters in Sixteen. There is 9 letters in seventeen. That make sense? Trick questions are awesome once you understand them XD .
