  • I got a 14% which I kind of knew would happen due to taking a empathy quiz before, however we did this in class. Once my friend with 28% got revealed she said how I had 14% and the whole class went ballistic. This being all but three in my class had over 60%. The only 3 with under 60 was me, my friend, and this on dude who had like 23%. This whole class stared at us like we were psychopaths and the teacher jokes of kicking us out. This is what I was worried would happen.

  • I got 43% sounds pretty accurate. Due to losing most of my emotions when I was little I can't comprehend emotions as well as most people can. When people get emotional I freeze and have a dumb look on my face.

    Ive taken quite a few quizzes online and they all have had similar results, and not to mention the people I know in real life would describe me as lacking empathy and/or heartless (even my parents think I have no consideration towards other peoples feelings. And now that I think of it, the only reason Ive been question my level of empathy recently is because new acquaintance (not sure if I see them as a companion or not) had told me a little sob story that apparently happened (keep in mind this person according to their story was 7 months old at the time and could recall it in perfect detail ) to the point where they started crying I was with one of my friends that Ive known for my whole life and she felt sympathetic (to be fair shes quite sympathetic but still) and I realised that I really couldnt care. I didnt give a actual damn about her little sad story. I just tried to change the topic so I wouldnt have to deal with crying people. Then I realised that I dint actually cry when it comes to other people and their problems or whatever is wrong. And Ive come to realise that Ive always hated people that cry. Thinking about this situation, its a bit concerning.

  • If i were to give this test to someone, i wouldnt tell him or her the title. Knowing the title of the test can make people answer differently.

    The choices given should be phrased in a neutral way. Some choices were phrased in a negative way, hence, people doing the test might avoid that choice even if it was supposed to be their sentiment.

    There was a question where a more likely choice was not given.

    I've taken 10 quizzes online and counting and they all give the same results... I'm not sure how accurate these quizzes are but I've been struggling with depression and anxiety a lot lately maybe this could be the reason. I also started a new job last year in the travel industry and I come in contact with up 800 people a day... And now my anxiety is starting to make sense to me. If I'm an empath, then being around that many people can be so exhausting and overwhelming more so than the average person. I also wondered why I feel very deep random connections with certain people. I just look at them and feel warmth, or sadness, helplessness, or feel this intense need to give a random person a hug. And 100% of the time I don't give them a hug beacuse that's probably weird but I'll have this ache or tingling feeling in my chest that won't go away. Lastly, after a few days of work I return home and I always have this insatiable need to be outside, to see the sky, touch the ground and feel the wind. I get extremely frustrated if I can't access the outdoors....

    Anywhooooo... Don't know if I'm an empath but if I am it makes a lot of sense!

    Am I crazy for thinking that if I dislike something, it makes sense that the other person will too? Is that empathy or commen, evolutionary, sense. I help you, your help me, and we fill in for each other in parts where we need it.

  • Honestly I don't really care for emotions, sympathy, or drama. ok don't care how some people feel they can just build a bridge and get over it. it can't be that bad. Life is hard sometimes you just have to deal with it and get over it and either not be super emotional or become emotionless. That is what airline would do become emotionless
