DROWNED. Now that I think about it, I almost did drown when I was 6 or 7 years old. It was my first time in a pool, and I waded out to the deeper part of the shallow end. The water came over my head. I was very calm and I realized that I needed to walk back, but it was extremely hard, as there was hardly any traction underwater. I was holding my breath for about 15-20 seconds before someone pulled me out of the pool.

I wasn't scared, actually, which to me is the oddest part of it all. In fact I'm the type of person who stands outside when it downpours. Go figure.
