  • It's pork roll not taylor ham, I don't go down the shore because I live there, I stay away from the highways because of the bennies. I usually don't go near the beach till after Labor day to avoid them. What do I care about the empire state bldg......This was clearly written by someone from North Jersey.

  • I never said "down the shore" - I always said "over the bridge". I guess that happens when one is born and raised in Toms River. No problem though - still got a 91%.

  • And "you're score" would be higher if you took the apostrophe out!

  • I grew up in Brick, live in Point Pleasant....it's PORK ROLL, and only Bennies go "Down the Shore (or shoobies, what the Bennies are called in southern Ocean County.

  • Anyone who says Down The Shore does not live at the beach. Those of us who live there call it The Beach. NEVER The Shore.

  • As the creepy Pineys have pointed out, this is a very North or "Real Jersey" quiz. Go back to Wawa you freaks! It's Taylor Ham, Down the Shore, and News 12 belongs to us!

  • It's pork roll..the best summer is after labor day and only pennies say down the shore...it was clearly written bye someone that lives in north Jersey, but I still got 94%

  • No I don't go "down the shore" I live at the beach. No I don't eat Taylor ham, it's correctly called Pork Roll. And real summer starts after Labor day, the water is warm and the tourists go home. CLEARLY this was written by a Benny.

  • We have the best of everything in NJ, 4 seasons( the music grp too!)the mountains, the shore, the city.

Cannot imagine a life without Taylor Ham(North Jersey) and cheese on a hard roll!

Dammit I grew up in Hudson Cnty and could have gotten that damn Empire State Bldg color question but I can no longer see the skyline from rural Warren Cnty!

It was a real b---- trying to pump my own gas the first time I had to in a foreign state!

Only thing Jersey you left out were Disco Fries- Sorry but just the gravy on the side with mine! Great Adventure? Palisades Park? Jungle Habitat?

  • I agree with all the people on here about how no one in NJ says JOYZEE! People from other states are the ones who say that when they find out your from NJ, "They'll go OH, so your from New Joyzee?" And I just wanna punch them in the face! And say NO I'm from Jersey!

  • Totally leans toward North Jersey due to:
    a) Taylor Ham instead of Pork Roll

    b) You don't go 'down the shore' if you already live there. (monmouth is right, sorry Bunny12)

    c) Every shore kid knows the best beach days are AFTER labor day. September is my favorite summer month.

    d) The Empire State Building question is just silly.

    e) The total lack of questions only south or shore jersey folks would know :p

  • I live in central jersey five minutes away from three different beaches. I have all my life. I scored a 68% because most of these questions are benny related. I never had to "go down to the shore" because its two minutes away walking and its called the beach. I don't eat "taylor ham" because in new jersey it is called PORK ROLL. newyorkers call it taylor ham. New yorkers are also the ones with the funny accents that call it joizy and visit the sapranos s---. People that live here don't have time for that s---. And also the north is where the bulk of the mafia would be. Like jersey city and all those places. Which are just little baby versions of new york and shouldn't even be considered nj. This was one of the worst nj quizes ever and the maker should really remove it. So inacurate. I hate it.

  • I live in Northern NJ and I got a score of 86%, no one from Jersey says Joyzee, I remember Action Park and we always say go down the shore. While people who live down the shore already wont say that, I still enjoyed the test. It was all in fun, we know deep in our hearts we are all 100% New Jersey !!!!!

  • Monmouth-nope, I have lives at the shore all my life and we have always said "I live down the shore" when speaking to others and will say "going to the shore" or "going to the beach" interchangeably.

  • "Down the Shore" is what the north Jersey and New Yorkers say when they go to the beach. When you live at or near the beach you say "Going to the beach".

  • some questions didn't have enough answers, some questions were based on shows that I've never watched.I've been in Jersey all my life, living at the shore, and have never watched news 12 unless someone wanted to show me a particular piece.I count strip malls as a mall as well.So to get a 64% tells me that this quiz is slanted to a specific region, and not the whole state.

  • NO ONE FROM NJ SAYS JOYZEE! NO. ONE. And us beach kids don't say "down the shore" we say "let's go to the beach".

  • This is very North Jersey biased, with the exception of the "tram car" question. South Jersey is very different from North Jersey and isn't as well represented here, as usual.

  • not a very good estimation of a real New Jersian. Born and raised here and going toward 60. (How old are you?) Don't get the feeling the creator of this quiz has lived here very long. Doesn't seem like they know enough to put this quiz together I got 50%. very funny.

  • It said 50% new jersey. Lol hubby I'm jersey born and raised and we dont speak with a new York accent and I dont have an "jersey" accent. Or act like anyone from the show jersey shore. That show is bogus and offending. Most jersians act NOTHING like what they show on reality shows.
