I believe in a classless, stateless, moneyless society where everyone is treated equally regardless of race, gender, sexual identity and the like. I can say I am the most left-wing person I know.

  • I don't think we should allow immigrants, but for a better reason than that 'most of them don't speak English'. We shouldn't allow people to come in ILLEGALLY. Because when they do, our hard-earned money goes into pay for them. Our money goes to pay taxes and they don't have too. Please tell me how that is fair? I'm studying to be a neurosurgeon and I'd like to keep my $750,000 a year salary, thank you very much. Because I'm working hard to get to that point. And when all that hard work pays off, it's not fair for the government to strip the award away in taxes.

  • To whoever made the same sex marriage comment, i believe anonymous6? I am a christian and I do not believe in same sex marriage or abortion myself, and! I do not believe that every single individual has the "right" to make their own choices of what they do in this life. The citizens of this country are expected to uphold a certain degree of moral integrity. Who's to stop the snowballing effect when we allow just one issue--in this case SSM--to slide? What's next? Marrying our children? Marrying pencils? If someone wants to marry a donkey, WHY CAN'T WE STOP THEM FROM DOING SO!? After all it's their "own right." There has to be a moral law for this society, and I am concerned that you are a Christian but do not believe that the Christian law is apt enough to govern this land.

  • I'll tell you liberal logic. Example of a liberal: "We should be able to kill innocent babies but shouldn't be able to kill terrible criminals." Liberals, be ashamed.

  • Perhaps it would be a good thing for our society to not only continue abortion rights, but also to start a campaign to promote abortions. It seems that liberals are the ones that want it and it could help take care of the problems we have, so why stand in their way.

  • I am a Christian and I believe in people making there own choices, but thay are CHOICES, this governmentshould not be telling us how we can pray in schools, public places or any government institution. I find that when I pray with someone or even something as simple as God Bless you, people will be overjoyed because they don't hear that much anymore. I work in retail, and at Christmas, I say "Merry Christmas", why, because thats what we are celebrating. I get many people thanking me for standing up for I believe is an easy thing to do. I have not had one person yet to say they were offended by this. Further, I have not had anyone be offended by hearing me say the name Jesus. If we are a country of free speech, I choose to use my faith to talk to others about Jesus, who changed my life, from druggie, alchie, to the man I am today. I also am a retired soldier, so I served to preseve the freedoms and choice I write of. That's why we are free. GOD Bless America!!!!!!!!

  • 37% - moderately liberal. You believe in governmental action to achieve equal opportunity and equality for all but not at the expense of the rights of others and you're cautious of that. You believe its the duty of the state to protect civil liberties and individual and human rights.

Sounds about right, I believe in equal rights across the board for everyone around the world. I believe we should not look at one another based on location within the world, their religion (I am athiest but I support religion although not what some use it for), color, money, job status, or anything other form of discrimination. We should look at one another as human beings, so if someone needs the help and you can do it then offer that help. Also, we should take care of the world more otherwise we are destroying it, ourselves, and everything that "lives" here. Even if we can travel then occupy another plant at some point, it wouldn't matter if we do not know how or choose not to take care of it. By the way, I am a young white male who happens to be bi and never know if I may get married or not but I support the right. I also do not believe in abortion, but it again is another right for the woman (and man if he is involved) to make themselves, not the government or someone else. To those who keep making comment towards others, grow up and stop being so direspectful towards one another. People wonder why there is so much war, violance, discrimination, etc but some of these posts can point out a couple of reasons, among the many there are. We all could be so much happier, living much better lives with one another if we took care of ourselves and helped others as much as we can when we are able to. Finally, although I am not against religion, people interpret it differently depending on how it fits their views. Stop being so narrow minded, open your hearts and minds. Marriage was originally used as a form of slavery rather than love, where the father gave away his property to another

  • To whoever made the same sex marriage comment, i believe paydo325? I am a christian and I do not believe in same sex marriage or abortion myself, but! I do believe that every single individual has the right to make their own choices of what they do in this life. Who am I or you, to tell somebody else what they can do with their life? If some other religion came up to you and said we dont believe in marriage b/w a man and a woman you can only get married if you marry 3 people, ( just using an example) what would you think? You would be like wth do I have to listen to them for if thats not what I believe? So everyone has the right to live their own lives how they want.

  • 73% conservative. Sounds right to me, I support a flat tax, no abortions except extreme circumstances, gay marriage, the word "God" in the pledge of allegiance and coins, high tarrifs on Chinese goods, strong military, and the death penalty. What are your opinions?

  • Yes..44%. I'm a Midwest Polish/German mutt from a hard working city near a large Great Lake, could be west or east. Hey my fellow Americans, how about Common Sense? Not the pamphlet, the Idea.

Some of the choices were limited in my view, but who the heck am I?

Just a regular American with , well, Common Sense! (Guns, legal for all citizens.. Gay marriage, legal, to heck with the churches... Universal health care, yes. Pro-choice. Affirmative Action, no with a "but", yes with an "if"..) Human Rights are paramount and no law should ever stifle the rights of human beings, regardless of what the fascists will try to do to curtail your Natural Human Rights (Patriot Act, MDAA, etc). Let's dispense with the titles and entitlements, and get to the brass freakin tacks.... There is no left or right, only freedom and tyranny. If one chooses to be free in their mind, then they will be free. Let's get going Americans, all of us. I am an antiracist action, cop watching, gun owning, book reading, Spanish speaking, hardcore drumming, co-op shopping, compost piling, grass roots free market Anarchist. Or you could just call me Friend. Love and peace to all..

  • Leave the exclamation marks out of the responses. It is stupid and shows a complete lack of objectivity to have as an answer to the abortion question "It it murder!!!" without an equally fire-breathing "It's a woman's choice!!!" Before you start judging folks' political leanings by their answers to questions, you need to learn how to ask totally objective questions and prepare totally objective answers. I suggest a course in Scope and Methods of Political Science.

  • @barrelracer: ok you may never see this but the reason society shouldn't want homosexuals to marry is because 1. God specifically ordained marriage of one man and one woman 2. The state has always recognized that it has an interest in the institution of marriage, and the reason is because the institution of marriage should be given an advantage. It should be promoted, it should be protected, and it should be preserved because it is the fundamental institution on which all societies and cultures have been built. Heterosexual, Monogamous, Permanent Marriage. 3. It is the fundamental way that the next generation of human beings are to be socialized and civilized. 4. Government expands in proportion to fatherlessness (and/or motherlessness)

  • 93% conservative.

I may be a small towm conservative catholic but come on let the LGBT community get married, it's not like a legal marrige means anything to straight people anymore and I don't see the government stepping in on the use of contaceptives or premarital sex, both of which are sins too.

  • One of the questions read "How do you feal about affirmative action?"

This quiz must have been composed by conservatives.

I scored a 12%. Never thought of myself as a liberal. I consider myself a conservative because I conserve! I conserve human rights, liberties, justice, resources, money, etc. Ah oh well. We're all so confused these days with the enormous loads of information streaming through a plethora of media outlets. It is easy for me to misinterpret what is true and what is false.
